BEAUTY IN BLACK PALACE — Local services in City of Mount Vernon

Went here for the 3rd time yesterday and It’s safe to say this is officially my new forever beauty supply spot lol. They are always VERY friendly and helpful. I went there for the first time months ago to get a curly bundle so I can do a ponytail. I’ve never did a ponytail (not sure why I was just trying to wing it instead of looking it up lol) so I unknowingly did not have all the supplies I needed so the girl at the register ran down the list of things I needed and gave me the most cost efficient products. My friend had most of what I needed so I only brought the curl mousse but I do appreciate her bringing that to my attention. Now fast forward to today. I didn’t have my car and ordered a Lyft to make a quick stop at the store and bring me back home. If you’re not familiar with Uber or Lyft, they give you 5 minutes tops to go in and out. I called ahead of time and asked if they can have everything at the register ready for me. I also had to compare prices over the phone and the girl on the phone was extremely patient with me as she gave me the price differences. I got there and was greeted as I always am when I enter. Something as simple as a friendly greeting goes a long way with me, especially because the people at the other beauty supply stores always seem irritated and mad at the world. I recently visited this Beauty Supply, and I couldn't be happier with my experience! The store is well-organized, making it easy to find exactly what you need. The staff is incredibly knowledgeable and friendly, offering helpful advice without being pushy!! I felt so comfortable the entire time there. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for quality products and excellent customer service! They are also opened much later than most beauty supply stores. This is hands down the best hair store I’ve ever been to in all of Westchester. They’re open later than most hair stores, everything was fully stocked, the store was impeccable, and everything was so clean it was shiny.
