The meat department is terrible. Bought a roast that was 1/3 fat hidden by packageing. When I went back I was told they all have fat and " that is too bad mine had that much" when I said in a nice way that I will not be buying meat there again the response was "I don't care". Do not buy there cheap cut meat and go to Budways. The butchers and meat are quality at Budways. I am adding to my review. We also bought some stuffed pork crops the same week and encountered the same issue. In package the item looked wonderful but when we went cook there was about 25% fat hidden by the way it was packaged. As a matter of fact I have never bought a Pork chop anywhere else that had this much fat on it. Why can't the fat be trimmed a bit? The manager mentioned they offer refunds but the butcher I talked to about my roast only gave me a quick " too bad I don't care". By the way we trimmed the fat in both cases and the meat was fine but it only cost bout 20% more than it should and it seems they do not offer the friendly service...
Read moreI just came across this review, that I wrote, and feel like I need to update it because there was eventually a happy ending. The Meat dept manager was mortified by the service I received and he honored the advertised price and assured me that I can reach out to him any time I have an issue.
The Issue was an error in the add which was published for another store, and I am going to increase to a 3 star review because of the Meat Dept manager. The rest of the management team needs to learn what customer service is.
Original review below I am so pissed, I wish I could give them 0 stars. Go to their website and select their 1365 Nash road store and and a find an exceptional $4.99 / pound for Beef Ribeye roast. Go to the store and they refuse to honor the ad claiming We don't participate with that ad. But it was supposedly the ad for their store. Clearly bait and switch, clearly dishonest, and the Manager on Duty wouldn't even give me a name that I could lodge a...
Read moreStopped in to do a quick purchase of one item. There was only one cashier open at the time. In front of me was a line of two people and a gentleman behind me. She obviously noticed me waiting there with my one item and cash in my hand. I thought for a moment she was going to allow me to check out ahead of her. Instead she said there was another sales lady coming to open another register. I jokingly said "I'm not good at picking lines". I patiently waited and proceeded to go to the other sales lady's register. Much to my surprise the kind gentleman that was behind me previously held a spot at the other register. I believe your employee needs more training on customer relationships since she is,in fact,...
