Chenango County Fairgrounds — Local services in City of Norwich

I very much enjoy to the Chenango County Fair each year because , to me mysrlf its almost like being at the New York State Fair. The Chenango County Fair , has lots of rides for both young & older, they have many, many delicious & great priced & s large variety of food stands. On certian days like the NY State Fair, they have Free admission & they also on certian days have the wrist bands, to where the adults or kids can ride the rides all day @ certian times , for one price of $15 per band, per person. They have durby car races, truck pulls , tractor trailer pulls, tractor pulls & races. Like the NY State Fair they have live animal exhibits, like horses goats cows, lamas, & even kangaroos ! The Chenango County Fair, is a great place to take the entire family, to enjoy just the day or the entire week or weekend. Its good family fun in a very nice location, one thats safe & has that new but old country...

The norwich fair is the same every year.. nothing new.. I'm am upset however they did not have a way of paging anyone over the loud speaker. Their excuse was someone stole the cable, yet they didn't get it fixed. Norwich needs to do a lot better when it comes to the fair. The food and fireworks was great! The rides not so much they seemed to go quicker then last year and some of them was having problems. Also the bumper cars as well as the jumper was not wrist band friendly... the beer tent was pathetic thus year also. Over by the farm animals there wasn't much going on so really no point I'm walking over to that side. I don't understand why they cramp everything in one spot when the grounds has alot of unused space. The campers and etc that the carnies stay in should be moved next to the river so there is more room for other rides or activities. I feel like every year the norwich fair gets...

Small fair, $10 parking, no admission fee besides parking. Has very little agriculture and few animals. DO NOT eat at Santillos. Charged me $9 for a sausage, peppers and onions that was horrible and charged me $3 for water. They ought to be ashamed of themselves. Somewhere between the counter and my seat I lost $8. Went to the local organization food tents and food was considerably better. The derby was ok but no comparison to Delaware Co derby hits, the hardest hitting derbies in NY!! This fair is shady AF. Be cautious of your wallet...
