Buyer Beware. We went to get simple sound dampening mats (dynamat) placed in our trunk to reduce vibration when the bass was up. It turned into a 6 week nightmare without our car all while the owner acted like he could have cared less. He was more concerned with his macho ego than the welfare of his paying customers. His installers unwittingly placed the dynamat over an antenna in the trunk compartment. When we told Miguel that the car wouldnāt start properly after he installed the mat he vehemently denied that the mat could do that. So we had to take our car to service. They couldnāt figure out what was going on. We then brought it back to Miguel and his tech decided to check our fuses and ended up shorting our main vehicle fuses and bricked our brand new car which only had 20,000 miles on it! Completely bricked, dead and had to be towed out.had it towed to the dealership where it took them 6 weeks to finally figure out the problem. That all the initial problems with the car not starting etc had to do with the sound dampening in the trunk blocking a vital communication antenna. Then, because his guy who didnāt know what he was doing, shorted out our system the dealer tells us they blew a main fuse inside of the transmission. We needed a replacement transmission!!! And every attempt communicate with the owner amounted to him laughing under his breath and being childishly disrespectful while he denied any wrongdoing . Seems like a 50 year old business owner would be beyond petty macho ego, it was laughable. Thankfully we had a extended warranty through our dealership or a simple sound dampening install of $350 would have cost us thousands of dollars. Miguel did cover the towing costs but we had to sue him to get our other costs back, car rental, diagnostic etc and that was like pulling teeth. We finally brought the car into the stereo shop in Greece and upon hearing Miguelās name he immediately said that they fix so many of his mistakes. They said he cheaps out on the parts which causes more problems for people later on. Save yourself gambling like Russian roulette with your expensive car and take it the stereo shop...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI got an amp install, and an XS Power battery, and 0 gauge wire upgrade put in my Expedition yesterday. I am very pleased with the work done. They seemed very knowledgeable, and the customer/employee interaction was fantastic. I would definitely recommend them to friends and family. The only issues I have is, the "waiting room" or lack thereof, and the price points of the components available for purchase in their shop, were quite inflated, but the price of the labor was very refreshing. Lol Half the price of the shops around our area. They also are willing to install your equipment in their shop. Alot of other shops I called refused to install any product NOT purchased in their shop. At Miguel's you don't have to worry about that. And they are the type of shop that won't do work that is unnecessary, unless your adamant that they do. Lol again saving you money. Keep up the...
