If you are looking for Willy Wonka's chocolate factory, you will be sadly mistaken. My family has been a Turkey Joint family for holidays for years since I was a young kid. I was excited to finally visit the establishment for making the delicious amazing treats. While the products are top notch, the service and passion are leaving a lot to be desired. "It's just sugar and chocolate" is the response we got when inquiring about their allergen label claims. There was no passion or excitement about the people working when we brought an entire family into the store with well behaved children. A simple smile and courteous greeting would have made a great improvement to our entire families experience. Also, the amount of politically focused advertisements was alarming and off-putting for a small chocolate store. "Daddy, why is there a gun on the door?" Awesome candy shop. They make their own candies and they do it well. I can easily recommend the turkey joints and the cream filled candies. The plain chocolate is not anything special so I would steer away from those options, but everything else we tried was done very well. We tried the dark chocolate turkey joints, the Brazil nut joints, and the coconut almond. They were all good but the dark chocolate was our favorite. Oh my goodness, what a wonderful little treasure to come across...ok, mother in love drove us over 😅. But, WOW. The amount of deliciousness in this place is FABULOUS.
