Jojos Market — Local services in City of Rome

I wanted to give it a four and a half..... I can't do half Stars though so I have to go with a 4... I ordered on doordash so this is purely a doordash experience.... I've never been inside the store.... and that's where that half star comes into play because I really wanted a sub but I didn't feel on the doordash app there was a decent selection..... I ordered potato salad, breakfast sandwich, a half pound burger... And some pickled and deviled eggs... The deviled eggs are good... The pickled eggs weren't overpowering very nice balance.... The potato salad was worth every bit of the $4... There's green peppers and carrots in it... The potatoes are really nice chunks.... The breakfast sandwich.... I got mine with bacon... The scrambled eggs on the sandwich were fantastic they put pepper on the eggs I found that to be wonderful people don't use salt and pepper enough.... I prefer my toast a little on the crunchier side that's all taste I understand that... I would pay $4 for that breakfast sandwich all day....

The burger was a pleasant surprise.... I was expecting a half pound of meat with some kind of cheese on it.... And that would be it.... There were pickles onions lettuce I think a piece of tomato even though I don't like tomato... Ketchup mustard and I believe mayonnaise.... They give you options on how you want your meat cooked I'm a well done guy... The soft bread was there again which I think takes away from how tremendous that burger really is... I think with my entire order and the $5 tip to the Dasher I went just over $25....

I would like to see some more choices on the door Dash app but in the same breath if it wasn't for the doordash app I never would have tried this place.... For the food you get for the price I think it was phenomenal... I'm sure in person it's an even better experience and like I said the only thing keeping me from giving it a higher rating was I strictly use the doordash app and the choices seem limited there I guess my issue with the choices is I was really expecting to see a tuna sub and kind of disappointed that I didn't.... I will definitely order again the sausage sandwich I saw on the menu will probably be my next target... I would definitely recommend this to Friends, family and strangers.... The food...

Attention Cyclists! If you're on the Empire State Trail traveling through Rome, stop at JoJo's Mom and Pop Market. The sign out front says 'Cyclists Welcome' and they mean it! Nice selection of deli goods and snacks; I had one of the best homemade meatball subs this side of the other Rome! Super nice people - the owner let me charge my phone, use the (very) clean bathroom, and fill up my water bottle at no charge. Ordered on Doordash for my lunch break at work. Accepted my order until 10 minutes before it was supposed to be made and suddenly cancelled. Maybe if you walk in you can get what you ordered. But I will never try them on Doordash again. If you can't accept the online order, maybe cancel it more than 10 minutes before it's supposed to be made.
