I was looking to create a welcoming basket for my friend from Afghanistan, and she went above and beyond to assist me, offering thoughtful suggestions and helping me choose a variety of drinks and nuts that would truly delight my friend. I walked in and no one greeted me even though I was the only one in the store. An overweight old man who gave me unfriendly vibes seemed to be supervising a young guy . This meant making me wait for the young guy to help me even though he was available to help me himself. After waiting at the meat section I came around the corner to ask if anyone could help me and he had his shirt lifted, scratching his exposed stomach and told me the other guy would be helping me. He stood there…not that I wanted his hands on my meat packages after that! And then they really didn’t have much meat after all.
