I had a fantastic experience working with Diane at Melting Point Jewelers and I could not recommend anyone more highly.

My husband and I reached out to Diane a few months before our wedding after being disappointed by the engagement ring that we purchased from an online retailer. She did a quick, initial appraisal and advised us to demand a refund from the seller. She supported us through that unpleasant process and, with the weight of her expert opinion behind us, we were successful in securing our money back more than nine months past the original purchase date.

She then helped us evaluate our options for purchasing a new ring, educating us about what kind of construction and support a ring should have to protect the stones it is holding. I love the delicate style of a halo setting but had never considered the structural ramifications, and those issues were what had caused several stones to fall out of my original ring. Diane reached out to a supplier she works with on pre-fab settings for information on how well they are holding up, since halo settings are a relatively new trend. I should mention that she did all of this for us before we ever gave her a cent. Ultimately she believed that she could build a sturdier ring from scratch while still giving me the delicate halo style setting that I loved, and the price she quoted us for this custom job was on par with what several retailers were charging for a comparable mass-produced ring, so the decision was a no-brainer.

At that point we were only a couple of weeks out from the big day, and in spite of having a fully booked schedule, Diane committed to having the new ring built in time for our wedding day. She met the the deadline as promised and it is BEAUTIFUL. The quality is immediately apparent and the difference between the ring she built for us and the one we purchased from a retailer is like night and day. I can honestly say now that even if I had an unlimited budget, I would not change a single thing. This is my dream ring.

Diane is obviously a master of her craft, I found her to be thoughtful and caring, and she was never condescending in her explanation of the finer points of jewelry design and construction. I love this woman and her brilliants!!!!! I met Diane Von Heckler seven years ago when my then husband took me to the Melting Point Jewelers to pick out my engagement ring. I was completely blown away at the beautiful one of a kind pieces of jewelery she has there. When I was getting engaged I didn't want the same old same old design every other girl had. Diane showed me so many one of a kind rings that no one else could possibly have and I loved that all her engagement rings are diamond less... you are able to customizes your own ring you don't have to settle for a already assembled ring! Diane took time out to sit with my then husband and I and explained the different sizes of diamonds that we could put in the ring. She helped us understand what the different color codes meant and other diamond related things! She customized my wedding band to fit my extraordinary one of a kind engagement ring!!! I received so many compliments on it. Not only my wedding ring but I went back and purchased many other one of a kind breath taking pieces of jewelery. I bought two gorgeous necklaces one that I wear everyday. It is so beautiful that it looks great with causal clothes but when I dress up for a wedding or a special event my necklace it the center of attention! I also have a beautiful everyday ring that i get complements on daily. I will continue to go to Diane and have recommended her to several of my friends who have used her as well. She is the most brilliant jeweler I have ever met. She is caring and compassionate. She take great pride in her work and her customers. When I decided to start looking for an engagement ring for my wife (girlfriend at the time of course), I new I wanted something completely original. I am an artist by profession so I also wanted it to come from my own personal vision. I was told about melting point Jewelers from two of our close friends who also had also used melting point for their engagement ring design (now customers for life). They raved about the 1 on 1 service, quality and most of all originality. From the moment I walked in for my first consultation, I knew it was the right decision. Up to this point in time, this was the biggest purchase I had ever made for the most important person I could make it for. Diane could have made this process more comfortable for me. She was as interested in every detail and aspect of the ring as I was and came up with many great recommendations to improve upon the design. Her years of experience showed when she was able to take my hand sketched design and create the perfect version with just the right professional tweaks. We went from pencil, wax, gold, then finally adding the diamonds and I was brought into review the ring through each of its phases. I couldn't believe my eyes once I was able to see the ring completed. It was more than I had envisioned. Michele my wife to this day couldn't have been happier with the ring and holds it to an even higher sentimental value because it is truly a one of a kind ring that I was able to design specifically for her. Of course, once it came time to design the wedding bands, there was no question we went right on back to melting point and once again they amazed us with two more beautiful rings.
