This review is due to corporate BS and stupidity about boat accessories and their ordering. The store itself is AMAZING as are the folks that work there !!!!!!. So we bought a BASS PRO TRACKER boat at Auburn bass pro, those people are the biggest idiots ever so we decided to get our biminy & enclosure done at Utica because they are awesome !! We paid up front, they ordered the parts, parts came in we set up appt to drop off on a Monday pick up on Friday, we live almost 2 hours away, we drop off boat, they call Tuesday and said they got sent the wrong parts, so we agreed just reorder and we will wait. So new stuff FINALLY came in and couple days later they call and AGAIN got the wrong parts !! We are at 3 weeks now they have had the boat. Bass pro makes them order from a Mickey mouse white river company who then in turn orders from the manufacturer. This is what these people do for a living!! Makes biminies and enclosures for boats !!! They had it hooked up most of the way when they realized it wouldn't close in the back and 1 zipper was missing! What a mess , so 3 weeks of no boat and NO biminy to show for it. It's really sad that for a bass pro boat we cannot depend on them to cover their own boat. Worst part is the folks who work there are at the mercy of whatever idiots order from the other idiots who make them. Bass pro told me same people screwed up other peoples orders too. The folks who work at the store are great and felt SO bad. Hopefully this gets corporate notice and something will change. As I sit here under an umbrella fishing in the rain because I have no biminy, i curse bass pro CORPORATE !!! Fix your ordering nightmare and find companies who can get u what WE need for your boats !! I shouldn't have to go to a private seller and pay a huge price tag on a custom biminy...
Read moreThe worst shopping experience I have ever had in my life. Management did little to nothing to justify what had happened in the store that day. I drove 3 1/2 hours to pick up a new bicycle for my son. The lady at the register ran the whole order through which total almost 1700 after running it through the register crashed so she had to have a manager come and fix it. The manager instead of going to a different register ran the entire order through the same one. After this happened she said the register crashed again and this time putting my credit card on hold. That wasn't enough she tried to run it again which completely stopped my credit card from working. When I asked them what they were going to do about this they told me to come back and they would try to run it through again. They did nothing to satisfy me or even justify the length of travel that I had gone on not only standing at the register for over an hour and a half and they asked me why I was getting upset. They did nothing to fix this I left with nothing in the back of my truck for my son's birthday this hasn't been the first time does it happen. Several times that I have gone the same thing has happened but was never the size of this order. If they can't operate the store efficiently they need to close it because I'm sure this has happened to many other customers by the reviews I've seen they are now trying to fix what they did wrong and I'm waiting for a call. I will return with the results and how they handled...

There are no great deals to be had and I don't get why some swear by this place. I passed at least 12 workers not doing much of anything, including a group of 5 just having a chat where 2 main aisles meet (by camping and the grills) and instead of freeing up the aisle, I was more or less forced to go around them and zigzag through the clothes. I was carrying a bunch of stuff, so it would have been nice to have access to the widest and most direct path to the register... But that didn't seem to matter to them. In fact the only workers that spoke to me were the greeter at the door, who just wanted to get me to sign up for a credit card and the manager who processed it. Yes, I thought I wanted it, and I got it... But after this experience, of shipping there for an hour without so much as one employee asking if I could use any help.. Well, it may be my last. I'm definitely paying off and getting rid of the card. The manager was so proud of the great rate they gave me because of my exceptional credit score... His words... But then when I saw it, for non Cabela's/bass pro, it was just shy of 15%... My credit score was 813. That is the highest rate any card gave me.
To sum it up, average or higher prices, high credit card rates, zero customer service, not a great selection in many departments... But a nice fish tank and some great...
