It's a steel mill. If people are complaining about having health issues, etc. then DON'T LIVE NEXT TO A STEEL MILL. People are always so quick to complain about places like this, but what about keeping jobs in America? Where else will we get steel? Companies like this NEED to exist to literally BUILD cities, bridges, locomotion, and on and on. If you think that grocery prices are high, imagine trying to operate an ESSENTIAL company to American business and operations and then having to have capital to upgrade infrastructure and keep up with regulations. It is clear a place like this is going to have violations and air pollutants, but move to another town and let this place thrive. All people do is complain these days and express "woke" culture. Wake up and realize that we can't put wind farms and other renewable sources everywhere and power, steel, and other necessary items have to come from somewhere. Don't buy a house somewhere with a steel mill in...

The smell of pollution in and around Pittsburgh area is deeply affected by this place. There are days we can’t even go outside because it smells so toxic. It’s just horrible. Peoples health is at stake after being exposed to these chemicals in the air over the years. It’s completely corrupt. Why don’t you have tighter regulations in place to protect the city you supposedly represent? Don’t you care about the destruction you are causing thousands of people? Please do something about it. Have some basic decency for the people who are suffering for your profits and at the very least.. put tighter regulations on your factories or maybe shift in a different direction entirely. People are suffering! Take responsibility and do the...

I dont get why people move to a industrial area then complain about it. Saying theh have health issues and all, my pap worked at the Steel mill for 34 years my dad worked there for 15 almost 16 years and neither of them have any health problems from the mill. So I don't exactly believe it when people say "I live 20 minutes away and have health problems from the mill" if you don't want to live in a industrial area then leave no one's stopping you. I live nearish to the mill and never have any problems with it. Really the mill is the only thing keeping the valley alive...
