Backstreet Burgers & Deli — Restaurant in Clairton

I had been a customer for several years and the food and service were worth the money, until now. The drivers were friendly and courteous which was appreciated during Covid-19 height. The food is now awful, I ask for extra lettuce and barely see lettuce, pizza used to be tasty but it’s flat out tasteless. Management has changed hands several times in the past few years, but lately I haven’t been able to get a return call. “Dave” promised me a refund or fresh bacon double-cheeseburger, but when I called for it he was no longer an employee and no one offered to honor my refund. My name is known at Back Street but loyalty doesn’t seem to hold weight there any longer. I am done with them and will never order...

The kids working there are doing their best. But the food was ... not good. The grilled chicken was dried out and tasted like stale freezer. The bacon was pretty good, not great, but there was only one slice of that. Even the lettuce was sparse and wilted. Tomatoes were the cheapest, most watery kind.

Very disappointing, overall. The kids working there were all that you want them to be and doing all that you want them to do. But they can only work with what their bosses give them to work with.

Messed up on a order of mine months ago.. Forgot to put french fries in with order.. Called and the Owner said next time I called in they would send the fries out.. " I'll put a note on your profile so when you order the next time we can make it right" So just called in to give this company another shot and was lied to again.. I only order from this place due to where I live.. If had other choices sure would pick the other place.. Food is nothing to write...
