I visited this excellent establishment in August while doing a Delta Blues history road trip in the middle of the pandemic. It was THE HIGHLIGHT of my drive from New Orleans to Memphis and beyond. It is a gift shop full of one of a kind items; a provisions store with locally cured meats, cheeses and even ice cream; a dry goods store with hard to find items like unique seasonings, cooking supplies and infused oils; and by the looks of things it will become a garden center with unique plants, flowers and herbs.
Jae, the young woman managing the well-organized shop is a wealth of information. She made reservations for me at a local Moon Lake restaurant while I was there. This place is a gem and a great gift shop, garden shop, seed and supply shop, and delicious little grocery too. Ann and the staff are always friendly and won’t mind if you sit out front on a rocking chair for...
