I have been going to this place for about 18 yrs. Yesterday I was there and my car would not start as I was leaving (forgot phone). I ask a kind customer if he would call AAA for me. He made the call but the hold time was long and he needed to leave. He went in the and asked the owner if he would call for me(I didn't realize he was doing this), the owner said no! The gentleman came out and shared this and apologized. I kind female that was in the store & heard him ask and came out to see if I still needed help. She helped me get my call through, kindly and patiently. Both customers were surprised the owner said no. I waited for AAA, they were closing the store and owner saw me sitting there an hr later and still had nothing to say to me. What kind or human being treats their customers or anyone else like this!!! He is a poor excuse for a human being! Needless to say they have lost a long time customer! *Also they don't even try to socially distance in that...
Read moreI've given this store great reviews in the past. I was a huge fan of their Ghost Pepper salsa. The label recently changed, however. It used to be a different color, and used to have different wording, to the amount of "seriously spicy" ghost pepp salsa. I asked about the label change, and whether it affected the recipe. I understand how labels work , and that he wasnt the one producing the labels himself, but rather, he has them made by another company. Regardless, the owner surely is aware of all changes to store branded products... When I opened the salsa, things didnt get better. The ghost pepper salsa is significantly less "spicy" than was before. That was the most disappointing part. I noticed that the new label no longer said "seriously spicy", but I was confident that the recipe hadn't changed, as the owner assured me. That didnt turn out to...
Read moreI had the most racist experience at this place when I was 18. I am a female. Stopped to purchase boiled peanuts and the owner and son were there. They yelled at me, cursed at me and the son ran me out the store with racial slurs. The father had to hold him back…all I did was ask if the change was correct…mind you, I am short and small. I was 18 years old at the time and will never forget . Please guys, do not be afraid to speak up about what is really going on. Do not patron a place that treats African Americans like this. They are clearly racist and for the amount of years they have been open…we can clearly see who is supporting them and keeping their doors open. Shame to you Tucker, ga..no wonder Stone...
