Dollar General — Local services in Clarksville

I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the Clarksville Dollar General employees. During the epidemic they have successfully serviced our small community. These employees treat customers as friends and community. Their patience, friendliness is well appreciated in these tense times. Thank you. That review was 10 months ago. I am still pleased with the employees. What I am very annoyed about is that this store is not kept stocked. Dollar General is making a very large profit from this town. Yet the stocks are always low. Maybe more deliveries are needed? Maybe more employees are needed. IDK. But it is ridiculous that the same stock items are continuously low. It annoys the customer & is loss of profit when you do not stay stocked. Nor am I impressed with the outside property and surrounding properties littered in Dollar General trash. It makes DG & our community look bad. Who wants to shop at a seedy...

The Assistant Manager at this location, Araya, is an absolute gem. She is always clearly working hard and goes above and beyond to help customers out, which is rare. One day I was looking for a specific product that the DG App said was in stock, and Araya figured out it was in the back buried in a pallet full of seasonal merchandise. She told me she would dig it out when they put that merchandise out and would give me a call. Sure enough, she did! She even kept the item out for me so I wouldn't have to go looking for it. I really couldn't believe she took the time out of her busy day to help me get what I needed, especially when it wasn't an easy ask. You're the best, Araya, thank...

Nowhere near the same good deals that I get in Blossom & Paris (for what I buy there). Huge store, practically a mini Superette. Many more aisles of orderly easy-to-find products available. 3 x the cooler space I've seen in any Dollar 🅶eneral. 2 Checkout counters that were moving people through quite at a good pace. Lots of customers. They were making larger purchases. Would have given a 5☆ for orderliness - a 1☆ for rudeness....
