The Courthouse Inn is 1881 Queen Victorian Style Bed & Breakfast that's been restored. There are 5 guest-rooms w/ daily housekeeping. WiFi & parking provided free.||I stayed on a Sunday night. The host & the home were incredibly warm & inviting. The Shannon room was my choice, after a tour of the whole house. Every room was full of architectural & antiquity wonders. Amazing wood workmanship. Surprises in every nook & cranny. Friendly exchange while having my breakfast cooked then shared. Facilities were clean & my bed comfortable.||This is also Prairies & Pineywoods Wild Life Trail East • Courthouse Inn - PPWE 119. ️ While here you can observe Red-bellied & Downy Woodpeckers all year & Yellow-bellied Sapsucker in winter. I called the host to confirm how to light it and he said that he hasn’t checked it for the season….in November. House needed some repair work, let’s if gaping around windows and doors which made it much cooler. And the breakfast was not like I expected. Thin bacon, some fruit, and eggs. Typically B&B have phenomenal breakfast. This was comparable to a McDonalds. There probably aren’t many places to stay around here though. ...
