Food Lion — Local services in Clarksville

Very Clean, convenient location, cashiers very blah personalities. I give their produce a 3 star becsuse Its arranged very neatly, but in my opinion not always the best pickings. Also, the stores cleanliness and store appearance a 4 star. I been going to this location off and on for more than 15 years. Foodlion is usually my last resort when I don't want to drive the distance to Wal-Mart or Publix because Foodlion is literally about 4 miles for me to drive. I would give it Foodlion a 5 rating if the staff had a more pleasant countenance. I understand everyone doesn't have their best days and dealing with the public can be a bit challenging day in and day out. However, it's important that customers have a pleasant experience when they reach that cashier As a continuous friendly customer that notice a gloomy looking cashier I normally greet them with a smile or pleasant tone when I'm not greeted. It's always a mental discussion with myself before I checkout about which register do I want to approach. I've been going to this location for many years on and off and I can't say I've every sensed a welcoming presence. Its hard to get that any more in a grocery store unless you...

Fell in the store with no wet floor sign, no warning from the employee who was standing there for that reason, and was ignored after my husband helped me up by 3 different employees. Management lied saying employee was new and didn't know what to do. My husband is in there almost EVERY single Sunday. He most certainly is NOT a new employee. No call from management the next day as I was told. No concern for regular customers nor apology from incompetent employee who ignored me and the situation as I was filling out the accident report. Lucky I am just extremely sore and didn't bust my head on the checkout. Major lawsuit waiting to happen. We will be taking our weekly shopping elsewhere as they do not care about their customers being injured in store and offered nothing in response to the...

Food Lion can be a little more pricey then Walmart but the staff is 10 * friendlier you could always get help when you need it. I like the fact when I go in it's not a place of Chaos and my daughter loves their customer in training shopping carts, that is one of the most awesome things I've ever seen at a supermarket. Their meat and vegetables are great quality it's fresh and I really find any bad vegetables. I like the fact that their meat a lot of times is on sale at a great discount price. I would have gave a five-star but their prices like I said can be a little more than Walmart but my main focus when rating is not about price but customer service no price does...
