I am very upset with Rice Box and it's so called manager/owner Kristin Winters. We ordered the Mongolian beef and egg drop soup to go. When we got the food home and started eating the soup we noticed mold and lots of it. My stomach did not feel good afterwards. We threw it out and saved some to show them. Because we live 45mins away I brought back some of the moldy soup the next day, asking for a refund. The manager refused to do anything for me. Saying her soup was fine and they use all fresh ingredients, I said understand that but I have proof of the mold, I didn't put it in there. She said again that it wasn't their fault and that I should have brought the food in that same night, even after I explained how far I lived away. It didn't matter to her. She walked away and sent someone else out to tell me that she wasn't going to do anything for me. So I left the moldy soup and walked out. So disappointed, that's not how you treat your customers. Check your food over real good before eating and hope that you don't need anything because the owner is super unkind and rude. A picture of the mold has been included. I will be eating Chinese food elsewhere.

We strayed away from our usual Best Pho House to try it here. I have heard great things so I was looking forward to it. Menu prices were kinda high. We ordered 3 kids meals which does not include their drink. We got the chicken bento box which included soup or salad, fried rice, pot stickers, spring roll and California roll. It was supposed to be 2 each of the pot stickers and spring rolls, it was only 1 spring roll and 3 pot stickers. The sushi did not taste fresh. The portion sizes were extremely small. We also got Szechuan beef with veggies and fried rice. There was a lot of onions and carrots but barley any mushrooms and peppers. It was not spicy at all, my 1 year old was eating it. Overall, the food wasn't that great. It was very plain and we left still hungry. There is also a service fee for using a debit card which I didn't see posted anywhere. We will not be back and will stick with our usual where we know the food is great and we won't leave hungry.

First please be aware that the door to the business is not safe. The door will slam close due to the closer not being set correctly. The ambiance is pleasant. When we arrived at 8 on Friday we were only ones in. It should have been enough of a red flag......the freshly mopped floor was like an ice rink. Even after it dried, it was slick. The food started with hot and sour that had a burnt soy sauce twang. One of 2 bowls left untouched. Eggrolls were excellent. The entrees ordered were $15 to $17. The general tso was underwhelming portion for $17 and it had a twang (tobasco twang?)that led to leaving 1/3 left untouched. The triple delight with brown sauce was the other entry. It was proportioned well and looked great.........absolutely no flavor. Was sent back uneaten. After that, the service disappeared. Lunch may be an OK value, but dinner left us hungry and bad twang of taste in mouth.

My husband and I had the day off and took the opportunity to have an Asian cuisine feast: steamed pot stickers, wanton soup, spring rolls, fried squash, garlic shrimp with vegetables, and triple delight with steamed rice!! Never again will I order tempura squash at any other Japanese restaurant because there is no way any chef is going to achieve a crispier and lighter breading than Rice Box!!!! I can't stand it when I order Chinese food and get limp Broccoli and that nasty frozen onion and canned bamboo taste!! The rice box vegetables are firm and fresh and the flavor explosion in your mouth will have your tastebuds mystified!! The atmosphere is comfortable, clean, and quiet. I am sick of the loud Clarksville restaurants with blaring TVs and hipster music!! From now on , we are going to the Rice Box to get away from the audio assault. The service is quick, friendly, and polite. We are in huge trouble because it is the freshest and best Chinese I have ever ate and I am already fantasizing about going back!! I have tried the fancy Nashville Chinese restaurants and Rice Box puts...

Abominable food, Triple Combo was not edible, pretty sure it was not chicken or beef that were served. The two shrimp I ate were ok except for the awful sauce. I was so hungry and the server never checked if my food was okay or if I needed anything though I was clearly displeased and there was only one other patron in the restaurant. When I eventually was able to express my opinion, I was belittled and chastised by the owner for eating part of the food. As a first time patron, I had no idea who or how to resolve the situation since my server never returned to assist me. Eventually, when it came time to pay, The server returned and I told her how unhappy I was, and I ordered another dish because I was indeed still hungry. The General Tsao chicken was at least edible, at least part of it. All of the vegetables and rice had a weird chemical taste. They own told me I needed to pay for both dishes since I ate part of the first one. This is definitely the worst Oriental food I have ever tasted and certainly the worst restaurant experience...
