My mother went there originally due to hip replacement. Found they werenât having her walk not much PT. Would never continue or tell us when they stopped therapy. They kept her non/ambulatory like they do with many keeping them down. My mom was diagnosed with dementia at 95. She lived at The Waters for 6 years. In that time, I found theft of her personal property over and over, the staff was difficult to contact to FaceTime, talk to mom or return calls. Many times, found her with no makeup on, dry, flaky skin, fingernails broken with chipped polish, wearing different peopleâs clothes. On Thanksgiving, family arrived unannounced to find my mom the only one in her bed, not dressed or in the dining room. They took her large tv and replaced with a very small one that she could barely see, we bought her a heated, massaging recliner that the staff ruined and hardly had her in. Then, while at the beauty shop, she got burned by the hair dryer and it took days before contacting family to let us know. On her 102nd birthday, while visiting, she had someone elseâs clothing on, was over-medicated and so lethargic she couldnât keep her eyes opened snd could barely communicate! She wound up having a 101f fever and low oxygen and the nurse cried and gave some lame excuses! Lastly, when they found Elder Abuse was investigating the facility, we found my mom wasnât getting a shower but once a week and had a bed sore from not being changed regularly! After celebrating her 103rd birthday, which they couldnât even put her shoes on for her special day! A couple weeks later, we found that the staff notified us after 2 days of my mom not eating and on the 3rd day, the Nurse contacted family to then tell us she was non responsive. Itâs suspected they decided to stop feeding her to kill her off quickly on account of us having them investigated. She passed within several hours later! Do not bring your parents to this facility if you want them to have quality care! Vanessa, the Director of the facility, was so rude to us and when told of the issues, she said we should find another facility! Theyâre the worst I have ever seen and I was in healthcare and know from...

Read moreMy wife is here in Ross Manor right now recovering from a hip replacement. I think this place has caring staff and I have been visiting here 10 days now with my wife. Her rehab and care has been great. Sometimes they are a little slow when summoned because of not enough staff. They are helping really sick patients first. The food is good and plenty servings. The hospital where she was in for surgery was the same. The people who do all the complaining should work here 30 days and they will be quiet. Some people always want something...
