This is a great place, with very affordable prices for a feed store, the staff is patient, helpful & knowledgeable. The only thing is, that we always seem to have to load up our own 50 lb. sacks of feed. Thankfully I can still do this even though I am retired. My husband is disabled & cannot load feed. The merchandise is quality, the gifts & home decor items, are adorable, attractive & I love the country home theme. Breyer collectibles are a available there. I went crazy & purchased lots of Breyer Christmas ornaments & other fun, farm themed, Christmas decor. Their selection of merchandise is wonderful. Need a riding mower, water catchment system, gardening supplies, a new barn dance outfit, repair a stable door, a new table saw blade, etc.. THIS IS YOUR PLACE!! Tractor Supply carries all feeds, for every stage of life, for your animal companions, great & small, production livestock, four legged performance athletes, wild birds, exotic birds & so on. We are dedicated shoppers for life. It is very affordable, to run a larger operation shopping here, so we actually profit, instead of going into the red every month. I ALSO MUST GIVE HIGH PRAISE TO THE STAFF & MANAGEMENT, DURING THE MANDATORY, WEEK LONG, 15 COUNTY WIDE, ROLLING BLACKOUTS. When even Walmart had closed its doors during these events, Tractor Supply remained open, with staff carrying flashlights & escorting every customer to what they needed & back to the register , where they hand tallied each purchase. I TRULY COMMEND, THEIR DEDICATED SERVICE TO THE COMMUNITY, AT THE EXPENSE OF THEIR OWN CONVENIENCE. OUR livestock didn't need to suffer just because the humans were. I also must say, that any feed operation, no matter how cautious or tidy, will always experience issues with vermin, in a rural area. Our old feed store at home was gorgeous & you could eat off their floor, yet they still had vermin issues. Recent warmer, earlier, yearly temperatures & heavy rains bring lush growth & more temperate environments bring enormous explosions of rodent life. Also as man moves further, into the bush, forest & field frontiers , the rodents grow accustomed to the plentiful food & shelter, that our structures & stores of feed/foods/crop seed provide. I am a realist & only have real world expectations. This being said: IM GLAD TO SHARE, THAT WE LOVE TRACTOR SUPPLY & WE WILL CONTINUE TO SHOP THERE 'TIL THE DAY WE...
Read moreTractor supply wouldn’t post this review to their website: Tractor Supply obviously assembles these units to some extent after receiving them. The seat-back flew off when trailering unit home- found it was missing the bolts on the seat posts. 3 bolts randomly fell off onto the ground after backing off trailer… I have no idea what they go to. Two safety pins holding the mower deck in place were not fully seated. The TS employee had no idea how to operate the unit and was even going to hook the battery up reverse polarity after I had to scavenge carriage bolts from other units to attach the cables. The actual Toro Timecutter seems to be built well if you can overlook Tractor Supply’s involvement. For $5400 it would seem Tractor Supply could be better stewards for the manufacturer and customer, for Pete’s sake. This is for a Toro 54”...
Read moreI’m always happy to go into TS in Clearlake. Love Red Shed, dog, cat, chicken feed and care stuff. I’m pretty sure I have purchased every chicken windmill, solar light, statue and wind chime. I have also loved all the real chickens that we have given happy homes to. One person I usually seek out is Marla. This wonderful sweet lady works so hard to help us. I first met Marla when I needed 3 bales of hay. In the parking lot was a trailer that held the bales. Marla climbed into the very back area of the trailer and by herself dragged those bales out! Way to go Marla! I thank her and praise her when I’m being helped by her, but I haven’t put it down in words… Marla, thanks for your expertise, kindness and willingness to walk me through every dilemma I come into TS with....
