I have always been into boxing especially in the army but at home it is my out. I walked right into the club and immediately signed up because in my life there's just been things piling up and piling up like a snowball turning into an avalanche and then I walked in, immediately was introduced to the staff, looked around, and knew that this was my out.
Title Boxing Club also has their mission up on the wall but to me it wasn't the "you vs the bag" to me, when you're in there, breathing, stepping, punching, slipping, etc. Getting tired and smoked, it's now You vs You!
The staff here become like family immediately and the people in the classes you get close with because you're all in there for the same reason even with life given us all different stressors.
Steve actually got me going to classes because at first i was the loner and just wanted to be there and now, if I'm not in a class it feels weird because i enjoy the people there now and we all joke, carry on, amd motivate each other.
Jen will keep you going with her loud yells, Seth will put you through a burnout session like now other, Kenny is the free style king with all the puns and jokes that never get old.
Bob is full of knowledge and advise that no one ahould take for granted especially if you're looking to become a better fighter. Hannah will make you legs feel like jello but that's okay, just walk it out haha.
There's events and challenges here too but the best challenge is challenging yourself to push harder, longer, and never quitting. Take a breath or two but don't quit.
I'm planning on staying because boxing is my sport and my way to express myself plus the staff and the people in the classes make it home and these guys...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe classes were great, good fun and great exercise. Unfortunately their billing practices are TERRIBLE.
At the start of the Covid19 pandemic I was taking classes. When they closed due to shut downs, two months (March and April) charged on my card. I didn't sweat it, they need money too. I called in early April and asked to delay it. I informed them that I was pregnant so it would be awhile before I could get back even when they reopened. They told me they'd delay it three months and that when I came back I'd get two months free because of the months during the pandemic that I paid but they were closed.
Fast forward to the end of Sept, I realize I forgot to extend the delay. They've charged me August and Sept. Ok I figure no big deal, surely they'll refund since I haven't taken any classes and had already paid two extra months. I called and no, not only will they not refund me but they are CHARGING ME FOR OCTOBER AS WELL. So we are now up to five months of charges for classes I didn't take and couldn't have taken, first because they were closed and now because I have a baby due in 4 weeks. $300 in credit card charges for absolutely nothing.
Not only that but on the phone I was pretty much told "That's how it is". Nice. I work with around 400 clients a year and I would NEVER charge for services I didn't render. It's not good business. So now instead of going back after I have my baby, I will not be returning to these classes. I'm so bummed that they...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI cannot say enough amazing things about Title Boxing Club Clemmons!
The first thing I love (along with the workout) is the sense of Family the club has! When you walk in, you are greeted with all smiles and a staff who are excited you are there! I love how each staff member gets to know your name and as you come get to know you personally as well! Time after time, I will be waiting to start class and a trainer will come up to me and ask me how I am or what I've been up to! (You won't get this at any "regular" gym") The sense of family comes with the staff but also with the members as everyone does an amazing job of supporting each other and encouraging! Whether it's a little "whoop whoop" in the middle of a workout or a fist bump during the active rests, there is always someone who is encouraging you to dig deep and go hard!
I also love the workout! I am a lover of high intensity workouts! Title Boxing Club is just that, INTENSE! But if intense is not your style, that is perfectly fine because workouts can be modified to meet your level of experience!
Title offers classes, nutrition coaching and one-on-one personal training! I've taken advantage of a session with one-on-one training and have really benefitted from what I was taught!
I love every class I go to and cannot thank the amazing Title Boxing Club Clemmons staff enough for being there to support my through my workouts and goals!
