We had our Air Conditioner expire and had to do something to remain cool. I called Absolute and a wonderful lady answered the phone and was very sympathetic to our problem. She said she would get someone out in about 30 minutes (and I thought OH Yes!) and I gratefully accepted her commitment. To my surprise, the door bell rang just about 30 minutes later. This was the start of a great experience.
Geoff explained the potential charges in detail before he started work. He checked out my system and gave me a number of alternatives to get it running. He also gave me options to change the system. I felt empowered with the information and felt very secure in making my decision. I elected to replace the system due to the age of my current system, the cost to repair it and the fact that it had old style coolant in it. The coolant will be discontinued in about 5 years and at that time I would have had to make another decision and possibly incur an additional expense.
Geoff provided options on a replacement system and explained the cost associated with each as well as explaining the procedure he would use to make the replacement. I was impressed! He asked when I would like the system replaced and I said "this afternoon". He made a call to the office and said he could not make the change out this afternoon but could tomorrow and they could start at 9:00am. We agreed and he proceeded to explain the process in detail and put together the documents necessary to get everything started. When he left that afternoon I was fully at ease with the whole situation.
The next morning they arrived as promised a little before 9:00 and started work. The first thing done was to cover the entire work area from the door to the furnace room with tarps and covered their shoes with gloves to assure they would not soil the carpet or the floor. Again, I was impressed Throughout the process I asked questions and check out what was going on. They were very polite and always answered my questions with a smile, as well as providing answers I could understand. I am not in their business and appreciated the answers being in simple terms that non-HVAC people could understand.
To make a 5-6 hour story short, they completed the job on time and far exceeded our expectations. Upon completion, they explained how the system worked, their responsibilities, my responsibilities, reviewed the documentation they left behind, assured me they were there to help if needed and left our home in the same condition it was in when they arrived.
I would recommend Geoff and Jason to anyone who is considering a new system or anyone needing repairs. They met all their commitments and were a pleasure...
   Read moreI am honestly excited to write this review. From start to finish, every aspect of my experience with Absolute has been an "absolute" pleasure! I can't say enough nice things about these guys. Joel came out for spring maintenance and together we basically condemned my 19 year old unit. I wasn't ready to spend so much money but he helped me make the right decisions and what would be the best balance of energy efficiency and cost. Once I had my system picked and priced, Wendy (I hope I got her name right) called me the next morning to schedule my install. She was amazing too, even helped me out with a completely different issue that I happened to mention while on the phone with her...saved me another phone call. Kudos to her! Five days later, Michael and Brent showed up to perform the install. These guys were the best, so kind, polite, professional and knowledgeable. They were even great with the dogs and kids, chatting with both while continuing to work. The weather was terrible on install day, but the guys were thoughtful and respectful of my home and made best efforts not to bring anything from the outside, in. The install was completed in one day and they would be back the next morning to clean and seal my duct work. They were early the next morning and got straight to work cleaning and sealing the ducts. We needed to be out of the house for a few hours during this process. I had zero reservations about leaving them alone in my home during this time. The dogs and kids liked them and I had good vibes about them both. Honestly genuinely decent people. There was a mishap with my floor during the process, but I chalked it up as the law of unintended consequences and they promised to make it right. A few days later another gentleman showed up to fix the floor and everything went fine. Before they left they even offered to pray with me for blessings and protection on my family and home. Just about brought me to tears. This company is far from being the cheapest, but I believe you get what you pay for. I would highly recommend Absolute Climate Control without hesitation.    Read moreAMAZING CUSTOMER SERVICE! My A/C had gone out on me needing a major repair. I had a home warranty that unfortunately had no one in the area to service and told me I had to manage it myself, get an AC company out and once whatever was needed to repair was approved, for me to pay and they would reimburse me. I had called another local company first whom came out and diagnosed it, needing a new compressor on a 14 year old system. When the warranty company spoke to that other company, they refused to break things down and as to what the warranty company needed for approval. Now I was forced to start all over again. I called Absolute and Jason answered the phone. I told him I had a big problem that another company wouldn’t even deal with. He said, “That’s why where here, to solve problems”. He explained that they normally don’t deal with warranty companies due to the hassle, but was willing to help especially since it was in the heat of the summer. He called me back and set me up with Brian. Brian has many years of experience in the industry and said he would do what it takes to help me out. Brian spent countless hours and phone calls back and forth with the warranty company. Between the two they agreed it was not cost effective to repair, best to replace the system. Brian spoke to them many more times and sent in the detail quote they requested and it took 4 weeks for the warranty company to finally approve. Once it was approved Brian had the new system ordered and installed in about 5 days from that point. He sent out Michael and Brent to do the install, these two guys were awesome, they answered any question I had, were friendly and very pleasant. When I originally spoke to Jason I had complimented him on his great customer service, he said that you will find that from everyone on his team. That was true for everyone I came in contact with. As to Brian, it is rare to find someone who will treat your situation like his own. He had to go round and round with my warranty company and he was persistent to help me get a resolve.
