My hair came out a damaged, brassy mess! Felicia did not tone my hair or color my roots. By the time she washed the color out and I sat back in her chair I was so dejected I just rubbed my temple and told her I didn’t know what else I wanted her to do to my hair. She asked if I wanted it straight or curly and I told her curly would be fine even though my hair is natural and I typically wear a fro. She used a blow dryer (heat), and flat iron (more heat) because “it needs to be straight to trim my ends” She then passed the flat iron over my hair (AGAIN) to “curl” it but she basically just bumped the ends. It ended up looking like a straw colored James Brown wig. I deep conditioned my hair to see if the color would look less terrible on my natural texture and discovered that my hair is severely heat damaged. There are straight pieces, wavy pieces and kinky pieces throughout my hair. It’s just an ugly mess and I’m upset that I paid $80 to ruin my hair. I’m going to have to pay someone else more money just to big chop my hair to get the damage out and I probably won’t trust going to a salon again. Going there was a...
