Positives Dave (the EV Tech) was very kind, helpful and showed me options in my used 2016 leaf so I could utilize all its functions. Negatives The service department was just plain HORRIBLE. The service tech didn't appear even remotely happy and rolled his eyes when I asked him if he could check on past maintenance done on my pre-owned leaf. This is my first time owning an EV and I was told I could go to any EV dealerships to get charged. So I thought. their single (1) 220 charger is broken. They had 6 spots for EV's but ONE Charger?? I asked the status of when it would be fixed and they didn't know...maybe a week? Then I asked for price quotes on the services for the EV and he scribbled things on a sticky note (see photo) and said they were guesses because he didn't know the prices of an EV maintenance. Yes, the SERVICE TECH didn't know prices! But he was awfully proud to show me the 2023 Leaf, which I'm not interested in as I just purchased a used 2016. There are EV's on their showroom floor, so how can you sell EVs and have no working charger at your dealership? When asked about maintenance, he said brake fluid cost $220 every 20k miles or 2yrs. Trans fluid cost $385 every 30k miles or 3 yrs...plus $190 inspection PER service. However, while this vehicle was leased, he reported it wasn't mandatory for either of these to be completed??? Somehow now that I own it, it's mandatory and expensive. Everything was a guess because he didn't take the time to write it up. No direct quote and seemed quite annoyed to even have me asking questions for the quote. There was nobody in front of me and nobody waiting in line and I clearly stated I purchased the vehicle and wanted to make sure everything was up to date and understood what type of Maintenance was expected. I have never been treated at a dealership like I was a waste of someones time and effort. Why was this so hard for them? Truly, Dave was the only one that seemed happy with his job and more than eager to show me a couple of the features I had questions about. It only took about 10 minutes max. I did make sure to thank Dave before I left, but was followed by the service manager, Drew, as if I was unwelcomeed and somehow causing an issue. I did give them an opportunity to straighten up and mentioned I would be writing a review. I called them when I got home to give one more chance. Nope, Drew couldn't even say goodbye on the phone, he just hung up after our conversation. How hard IS it to be courteous to your customer? I was told by Drew to speak to Aaron Hassel. I called another location and they didn't know who he was and gave me Mike Wilham, neither have returned my call...yet. I don't think I want to return to this location. It really didn't need to be this horrible.

Because of these wonderful fuel cost, I began shopping today for a fuel efficient vehicle. I called Nissan of Macomb and spoke to Mark on the telephone. He was super helpful, took the time to talk to me and was also very nice. About an hour and a half later I walked into the dealership and met Mark Denha in person. What a great guy!!! He was never pushy and never trying to talk me into getting this vehicle. It just so happened they had 2 coming in today. While I was there talking to Mark, the truck pulled in. I've been a member of the GM family my whole life, and today I purchased my first Nissan Sentra. If you're in the market for a Nissan, you must go to this dealership and meet Mark! I can truthfully say he earned a lifelong customer today. "UPDATE"....Because a "doe, a deer, a female deer"....lol, decided to commit suicide and ran in front of my daughter while she was driving my Sentra, well lets just say the Sentra won, but at a cost. So since it was a total loss, I had to wait 2 months for the claim to process. But as soon as I was ready, I called Mark again and he had this black beauty on the lot. This one is a little more sporty, but Mark and the team at Nissan of Macomb were awesome again!! Like I said earlier, they earned a customer for life!! The service department is just as great also!!

One of the best experiences I’ve had (EVER!!!) in getting a new car. From pulling up to the dealership, to meeting Josh to meeting the manager to waiting in the lobby to eventually driving off the lot in my new (new to me) 2018 Nissan Rogue SV….It was a great experience…

My sales guy though; Josh White was a beast of a salesman in the best of ways. From the first hello to him making sure that I got my old car home after driving off the lot in my new Nissan Rogue SV…he took care of me…He never tried to sell me anything, he just showed me what they had…..But the way he did it….Ok let me walk you guys through my experience…

As I’m in the lobby just casually strolling around taking a peek at other vehicles and the showroom in general, Josh is outside getting the Rogue ready for me to test-drive…(The thing is, I came in looking for an Altima...I knew what I wanted and had no plan of leaving with anything else.)…Looking back….it was like it all happened in slow motion….As I take a peek outside…all of the doors are open…even the hatch-trunk ( I guess that’s what they call them…I haven’t purchased a vehicle in so long)…ok we’re still in slow motion…..All of the doors are open and it looks like a bird as I see it from the showroom window…..As Josh is walking back into the showroom…he beckons for me to walk with him over to the Rogue. The first thing I fell in love with was the color…It’s a cobalt blue….and the front grill….and when I sat down on the inside-part….it was a wrap…..Josh hops in on the passenger side, and starts showing me all of the bells and whistles…in my mind…I’m thinking oh….OH…OH!!! OKAY!!!.....So he shows me what route to take for the test-drive and he sends me on my way…..(small tear)….The way it handled, the way it felt; and all the stuff to play with…it felt good on me……I wasn’t expecting it…..so as I’m pulling back up to the dealership and walking back in…Josh floats over to me and says : “do you love it?”…. I’m like “Man!!! I love you!!!…..Lol…..I had no plans on looking at anything else….Now I want this one…..lets chat….we did the credit app and submitted the whole kit-n-caboodle to his manager and we waited……while we waited….Josh kept me company and we talked about Hurricane Ida and the flooding in NY, Mississippi and other areas…cars…deer and you name it…..Then his Manager called him….shortly after…Josh came back with a number I wasn’t totally comfortable with…he introduces me to his manager and his manager was just as awesome as Josh!!!

Josh has a quiet charm to him, awesome personality, great knowledge about the product he was showing me…and a one-on-one vibe that was just comfortable…..His manager was sharp (you can tell he knew his business), charismatic, efficient and genuine…it was a double whammy….lol....together they worked out a deal that I couldn’t walk away from..…I drove..…off into the sunset in my new (to me) 2018 Nissan Rogue SV!!!!….A huge thank you Josh to you and your manager for taking such great care of me!!! I appreciate you guys!!!!! Muuuuuuuuah! THE END!!!!

Yet again, another incredible experience in getting a new car. My sales guy, Michael Laymond, and the Manager Cliff Anton took great care of me in getting me into a 2023 Nissan Rogue. I brought my old Rogue in for routine service and met Michael Laymond as I was strolling around the showroom. We chatted for a bit and soon realized that we both were on the same page. I was thinking about getting another Rogue and Mike shared with me that the timing was great because the dealership was offering great deals and had other great promotions. We went out to the lot, he showed me what they had, set me up for a test drive, and sent me on my way. The Rogue handled beautifully and everything else as they say is history. Another great experience with Nissan of Macomb. ...

Car buying has ALWAYS been a stressful experience. No matter how prepared I am, the grand cacophony of texts and emails is overwhelming. This time around was no exception...until...Mike from Nissan of Macomb rose above the hubbub. He didn't send a message that said, "Call to schedule a drive" like all the others. Instead, he answered our initial inquiry about a specific car. Rather than simply saying it was "available" he took the time to detail the entire cost so we knew immediately that it was in our family's budget. This is how we prefer to work.

His attentiveness "drove" us to start our physical search at Nissan of Macomb. The dealership was clean and we were welcomed immediately.

Throughout the entire process Mike was kind, professional and patient. He answered our questions, listened to what we were looking for and was never pushy. We had come in a couple of hours before closing and never felt rushed to leave.

Our first choice in vehicle was available on site and he pulled it around for us himself. The other two were not available, but he brought out one of their equivalents. He took his time explaining features and answering our questions. He also encouraged us to take a test drive for longer than we'd planned.

We loved the car that was our first choice. We'd come in with pre-approved financing from our bank. However, Nissan is running end-of-month incentives and we were able to get a better rate through Nissan.

Mike took us to the reception area, showed us the window where we could see the service area and offered us refreshments. While sitting there to wait for our application to be processed, I realized we had grossly underreported our income. I ran to find Mike in a panic. That's when I met Noah who was very friendly and professional. He found Mike for me within moments of my talking to him.

Mike took me to Corey who was just about to send our application. My adrenaline was rushing so my thought process was slowed. Corey and Mike stood with me while I calmed down and Corey (who was also incredibly friendly) worked through the math with me. I mean, I was totally frazzled and both of them were so incredibly helpful and patient.

Our application was processed quickly and before we even realized it, our new car was taken for detailing. We knew when we started this process that we wanted to buy soon. We had done our homework, but we honestly hadn't thought that we would go in and come out with our car the same night.

Mike guided us through everything remaining friendly and patient the whole time, even as it grew past closing time. We were taken to do our paperwork. I believe the gentleman who helped us is named, Richard, but I was so tired at that point I may have that wrong. So sorry if I do. "Richard" guided us through the paperwork without being pushy and was very professional.

At this point, I'm sure everyone wanted to go home, but we were still treated so well by every single person we met. Corey even came out to congratulate us on our new car as Mike was handing us the keys and going over a few features.

I know this review is long, and perhaps won't be thoroughly read by consumers, but I hope the owners and managers of Nissan of Macomb do read every word. Mike, Corey, Noah and Richard as well as everyone else we encountered were absolutely wonderful. We are thrilled with our purchase and the entire process.

We look forward to continuing our relationship through the service department and will make this our first stop when it's time to replace our other car.

Thank you for making what is typically a very anxiety provoking process for me run seamlessly. This is a gem of...

4/21/25- I went in just for a routine oil change and tire rotation when Drew the manager of the service department notified me of some noise that I didn’t even know existed. Drew and the service department had the part ordered which was on back order so my vehicle was there until they received the part. They put me in a loaner vehicle (very nice I may add) and the part came in sooner than expected. I never missed a beat at work thanks to Drew and the Nissan family making sure I was taken care of. My dealership for life… Thanks guys

12/14/24- I purchased another new vehicle from Nissan of Macomb and it is always a good experience. I even learned more about certain financial numbers and warranty that I never know thanks to them taking the time out to explain. These guys make sure you know what you’re buying which is why I only shop at their dealership.

10/14/23: As always the service and customer experience was fantastic. They always put you first with a high exchange of respect. Love this dealership

3/1/23: Oil change and tire rotation was done fast with a complimentary car wash. Any services done at Nissan of Macomb is done right and up to your expectations. These guys respect and honor you as a customer. They treat you like family

1/11/23: The service was great, fast and done right. I asked for an oil change and to check my brakes and they performed these with no issues within the time they estimated. They also keep me updated to when my next service work should be done to keep my car running at peak performance. I love this service department for the fact they treat my vehicle with care like its one of their own every time I come in

5/25/23 Service for oil change with tire rotation. Recommendations for maintenance to be performed in the next 5K mile which my car didn’t need at the time. The service department gave me my next recommendation for service and told me there is no rush and I could even space out my service…: fantastic that they did not pressure me to send money all at once

2/5/22 My recent experience at this location was without a doubt the best one yet. All of my experiences and expectations are shattered during every visit. The job performed on my vehicle was reviewed but tricky because the conditions were hidden but with their experienced technicians were able to figure out what I couldn’t and I’ve worked in automotive for over 28 years. I’m glade these guys are here to help and keep our vehicle’s running.

2/22/22 Oil change was due and they were fast and informative about my maintenance schedule and recommendations are. This location priority is to keep their customer vehicles running in prestige condition and them happy. I truly trust them with every repair or maintenance task that needs to be performed on my vehicles. The Nissan Of Macomb location always deserves an A+ for service and customer relations

3/11/22 Oil change and tire rotation on one of my Nissan vehicle and as always good service. They were packed and still got me in and out under an hour because they are true to their appointment schedule. I love it… I didn’t think my vehicle would be done for at least two hours due to all of the cars that were there before me. You guys keep up the fantastic work energy. Me as a customer is happy to know you guys aim for high customer satisfaction… Thanks...
