I'm not even angry, just disappointed. As I walked into the restaurant, and being the only person there, I was not greeted. I then asked the employee at the register (who was wearing his street clothes) what cheese bagel options they had. He proceeded to list off: plain, salt, and raisin. I assumed he was new, which is understandable as he could be nervous. I then asked if they had asiago or cheddar. "No we're out of that." No apology whatsoever (not that it was needed, I understand that every store has a truck day to refill, but come on!). I settled on two sausage egg and cheese on plain bagels. A "seasoned" employee stepped in and proceeded to locate a four cheese bagel buried under a pile of other varieties. Okay fine, the wife at home gets the cheese bagel she wanted, awesome. I also ordered a small iced cappuccino. The "seasoned" employee handed it to me and stated, "this is the best one I made all week! It didn't even explode!" I know, it sounds insane, but that's not a joke. As I waited about ten minutes for my breakfast order, the employee on the sandwich station walks over and literally yells at me, "we don't have any four cheese bagels!" She was then handed the bagel by the employee in front that located it from the pile, and took it back to make the sandwich. Another five minutes goes by and she brings me the bag and simply states, "I'm a liar we did have a cheese bagel." I saw two other customers come in an receive the same level of service. One of the other customers had to explain two times to the new hire what a medium double double was. As I left, the original "bagel pile explorer" squeaked out a, "have a nice day." That was nice... I guess. As I originally stated, I'm not even mad, just disappointed. Being a former employee, this location was atrocious, and extremely concerning. I have never had these issues at any other store. It is across the street from my house, but I will drive an extra three miles to go to my original store, where I know I will be treated properly and warmly. I don't want anything. This isn't a review I'm hoping will get me free stuff. I just thought whoever reads this should know, and hopefully take proper action to correct it, so I and other customers can enjoy these rare days off of work and eat really good food and drink good coffee Also, I forgot to mention, all the lights were off except in the employee area in back...? The entire front/dining area was dark. Not sure if electrical issue or they just didn't want to...
Read moreDefinitely would have at least given a 3 but a particularly bad experience just happened for me this time. This store in general is alright. They make mistakes every so often but the service usually is good. My wife and I ordered an everything bagel with cream cheese and there was almost no cream cheese on it when we got it. When I took it back in the guy worker (didn't get his name) helped me. He did a fantastic job helping me to get a replacement and I felt that he genuinely was also disgusted and wanted to make my experience better. He offered me a refund or a complimentary donut for my trouble wilhich I declined because I trusted that he cared and it wasn't that bad. But when he showed his manager all she (didn't get her name either) said was, "Yup not enough cream cheese". She did not seem to care at all that a terrible excuse for a cream cheese bagel left her store. I felt like she cared nothing at all...she didn't seem to be remorseful, sympathetic, or anything. As she made me my replacement, since there was no one else in line, the 1st worker tried to explain why it may have happened to me I think in an attempted to keep me calm and just show me that he cared. Then shortly after, super uncaring manager handed me my bagel and told the worker (in front of me and everyone else in the store) don't talk to the customer about mistakes we made (or something to that effect). It has made me soon angry that here this employee is trying his best to make me feel better and keep my business (this guy did a great customer service job in my opinion) and his manager just reprimands him in front of the entire store. It really made me upset that the 1 employee there that is doing their job to a high degree gets repremanded in front if everyone. The only thing I regret is not getting their names so that I can talk to her manager. She above all things in the past has completely ruined my view if that store and I'm not sure I'll go back... especially if she is still above him. It's just a shame that the one person there tried their hardest to make the customer have a positive experience gets in trouble...not who ever released that joke of a bagel (that I k ow if anyway, IDK what happened after I left) but the employee trying his hardest to do his job AND MORE too the fullest. Read moreI went through the drive-through. The lady seemed like she had no idea what we were talking about while trying to order. I ordered a 10 pack of birthday cake 10th bits They gave me an assortment so I went in there to have them correct the order I stood there for 10 minutes they didn’t say a word to me, but they looked at me about three times each While I was standing there i witnessing the cashier. Take orders And touching money with gloves on touching Food with the same gloves. Her hair was over her shoulders hanging down and all the food while she was grabbing the donuts Went back to take orders with the same gloves and the process repeated every time no glove change. I finally receive some help, not without an attitude and thankfully The one helping me did put on one glove to correct the mistake. I asked her for a receipt. They refused to give me one told me they couldn’t do anything about Another customer returned their whole order for the same reason then when I asked for a manager, I told there was no manager there and there’s nothing they could do. This was such a unbelievable experience. It’s crazy to think that there is gonna be no manager on site and people like that running a store in that way could get somebody Sick.
