I took my Janome 7700 in January 27, 2023 for a repair. It took 2 weeks for a call back to let me know that they needed to order a part that would be $300. No mention of the cost of labor. I’m not surprised by the 2 weeks, but I just picked it up yesterday, which is 2 months later. I was told the part was on back order. I’m still not surprised by that. What was irritating is the fact that it’s now $350 for the part and $25 for labor, both of those along with tax came to $395.63. Nope, because I used a debit card, they added 3.5% to that amount, totaling $411.46. That’s what’s irritating.
