I took my Janome 7700 in January 27, 2023 for a repair. It took 2 weeks for a call back to let me know that they needed to order a part that would be $300. No mention of the cost of labor. I’m not surprised by the 2 weeks, but I just picked it up yesterday, which is 2 months later. I was told the part was on back order. I’m still not surprised by that. What was irritating is the fact that it’s now $350 for the part and $25 for labor, both of those along with tax came to $395.63. Nope, because I used a debit card, they added 3.5% to that amount, totaling $411.46. That’s what’s irritating. If you’re going to add a fee for using a card, maybe when they call you, they could inform you. I could have stopped by the bank and got the cash. Am I a disgruntled customer, you bet. Even though Casey's Sewing Center didn't have very many reviews to go by, I still took a chance to have them repair my machine. I will definitely go back. Such fast service and the owner explained everything that had been done....
