The cashier was unfriendly. He didn’t say hello and bagged all my groceries wrong. The drinks were in every bag, the produce were scattered in every other bag. The fragile items were at the bottom. He did not tell how much I saved he just handed me the receipt and didn’t even say goodbye, nice day he didn’t look at me. He was clueless and careless. I felt like he was selective of his customers because he was very friendly to the lady he rang up before me. But his customer service seemed to have ended with me. I even said please and thank you even after I had left with out a thank you or even a smile. I felt terrible there. It was my very first time in your store. I’m not from Cloverdale or live in Cloverdale I happened to stopped by for a few things I needed helping someone else out with some food and groceries. Please train all your employees to learn how to bag correctly. If I had eggs or bread it would’ve have...
Read moreFirst of all, for those who are giving this place 1 star, and saying they wish it was a Trader Joe's or Whole Foods instead, I'm assuming they're pretty well off. Not ALL of us can afford to go to those places all the time. Your comments just sound straight up stuck up. There is nothing wrong with this store. It's great. Always changing selections, clean floors, friendly staff (every time I've been there), great deals! Sure it's not one of those expensive stores, but like I said before, why would I pay up to 4 times as much for the same product? Plus the food we buy, we eat that same week, so even though alot of the food GO sells is usually close to its "best by" date, the food is still fine. Not to mention, best by dates dont mean that after that date the food is bad, it's a requirement by the FDA as a suggestion.
Overall this is a great new addition to Cloverdale, definitely helping people who get price...
Read moreI had a terrible experience today at the Cloverdale Grocery Outlet and with the owner Joseph H. I came across an item that clearly had 2 for $5.00, so I put those items in my cart, when I got to the register they came out to be 3.99 each, so I told the cashier that the price clearly stated 2 for $5, she had some one else go check the price and they came back with the price stickers in her hand and said they were $3.99 each. I continued to say that they should basically honor the price, which I thought was the right thing to do, then the cashier called the owner and he said that he was not going to honor the price, I said to him that that was not okay and he asked me to leave his store. I have been a customer since the Grocery Outlet opened, this is crazy especially coming...
