I just moved to Cochranton recently. I saw a help wanted sign on the door into your store. I asked the young girl at the register for an application as I was checking out. She was very friendly and very sweet and handed me one with a smile. Upon returning with a completed application a very rude woman acted as if I was no problem when I came in to the counter. She comes around the corner with a smug look on her face says to me very rudely what is that? I looked at her with a smile and I said it is a completed application. She snatched it from my hand and said she would give it to the hiring manager. I told her thank you and have a wonderful day with a smile she turned look me up and down and then turned around and walked away from me. I found that to be very rude very judgemental and not very professional. I don't know if that is a type of place that you like to keep or the type of employees you have however I really expected more from a small town grocery store. I felt they should at least be polite. If she's going to be that rude maybe you shouldn't have her in the front where she's going to greet people because she wasn't friendly at all. It was very disheartening. I'm a very good person and to be judged by some woman who doesn't even know me is incredibly wrong because I would never judge anyone else. I love having this store in our town for when you need some stuff for dinner. (You're not gonna wanna drive a half hour to get some burger meat and buns last minute 😅) The employees are nice and the store carries some specialty items (like sauces... mm anchor bar sauce). There is a cute country store like nook, a deli, produce section, and we can get bird seed and suet here. You can order pizza from the Deli too. Only reason I'm saying 4☆ is prices are a bit high for most things and I always check the expiration dates and my bread because I noticed things...

Just visited this awesome little store today to pick up my free packs of sausage that I won from their daily giveaway. Thank you so much.
