Man these folks do it the right way. I was recently in the market for an engagement ring and I'm so glad I went to KNJ. As soon as you walk in the door, you are greeted by most likely Keith or Andrea and, if not, a very friendly sales associate. The atmosphere is extremely pleasant; you know right away it is a locally, family owned business. I knew exactly what I wanted but did not know what would come of my first visit. After I introduced myself and said hello to their wonderful German shepherd Ruby, I started to tell Keith what I was looking for. He asked me a few questions, which led to a dialogue that included Andrea, Keith and another supremely nice female sales associate. You could just tell they were genuinely interested in my story of how long I have been dating my fiancé, how i was going to propose, etc. It wasn't a show. It was genuine interest. This is very unlike me, but literally the first ring Keith showed me, I ended up buying that day. Why? Because it was just perfect. And the staff took the time to get to know me and then show me products. Keith said he had someone just like me in mind for the ring I bought, and that felt good. It really is a spectacular ring. The setting is perfect and people compliment her on it all the time. After I returned home from the trip that I proposed on, we both came in to see everyone at the store and they were so very happy for us. We enjoyed telling the story to everyone and showing them pictures of the trip while Keith perfectly sized the ring to her finger with his (probably ridiculously expensive) laser machine. The whole experience just "fit." It really did. When we left the store that day, my fiancé was like, "You couldn't have bought a ring from a better place." That was important to me. I made the mistake of taking a high end sterling silver and gold travel clock in for repair. Mr. Nusinov told me how capable his 90 some year old Dad was at clock repair and I left the store thinking I had left it in great hands. Later when they called to say it was ready to pick up, I went into the store and picked up the clock and paid in excess of $500 and left thrilled that my clock was ready for another 50 years! Only it wasn't. In fact it would stop running and this happened all the time. The clock could not be relied on to tell the time. I returned with the clock, Nusinov Sr. was not there at that time. I was assured he would get to it soon and I would have it back in a timely manner. That was over a year ago. I stopped about four months later and found that the clock was all apart and not fixed. I'm out over $500 and still have no clock. Mr. Nusinov may be a fine horologist but he has yet to fix my clock and apparently he never checked it out before having me come in to pick it up. Perhaps my clock was beyond his abilities but he shouldn't have taken it in the first place if that were true. In a year's time I have not heard from them at all. I guess I am out my money and have a broken clock. I am not happy with Nusinov's. Will they make it right? ...

We had a family heirloom engagement ring that needed re-sized, fixed and cleaned. We also wanted to purchase a custom made wedding band to match the engagement ring. Keith helped us figure out exactly what we wanted for my band. He was great to work with and made sure I had my engagement ring by the time my wedding came around which was within a month of us getting engaged. He gave us a silver wedding band to use on our big day since our wedding band wouldn't be done and let us keep it for sentimental value. My engagement ring was fixed and looked absolutely beautiful. When my wedding ring was completed it was perfect. We had gone to other big chain store (Smyths', Kay, Littmans) and no one could help us create exactly what we wanted. Keith did this for us and was very reasonable for his prices. I am completely in love with my ring set and definitely don't think anyone could have made it more special for us.
