Brevard county does not provide many options when it comes to Airsoft and Combat Zone was the first one to step up. Airsoft players have to share the fields with paintball players with the exception of the speedball field since the barriers can't handle Airsoft.
The airsoft fields are all outdoor courses with the largest being called Trenches. Like the name suggests it has several trenches as well as many barriers made from plastic crates and wood. The Vietnam field is rugged and designed for crawling from point to point. The Trenches and Vietnam fields have two paths which connect the fields for larger games. The Siege field is a split path that meets at the back and the design is intended for attack and defend games. There is not a dedicated CQB field but most of the areas are designed for close engagement.
Combat Zone also has a good selection of gear, ammo, and Airsoft guns in their store. The only negative at this point is that they don't offer rental airsoft guns whereas paintball markers...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI never was into airsoft, but some buddies of mine do it all the time and talk it up. So I checked out Combat Zone to see what all the hype is about, and I was not disappointed. Mike, who runs the place, is a stand-up small-business owner who genuinely cares about his customers. He wants them to have a fun experience on his fields and good service in his shop. I was looking to buy my first decent airsoft rifle online; but after talking with Mike, getting personalized info and answers, and seeing his passion for the game, I quickly decided that I would much rather buy from him and support his local business. His prices are reasonable for the equipment that he sells, and his knowledge of airsoft and paintball is what sets him above the others.
If youāre looking for a good time, Combat Zone is the place to be.
P.s. Mike is basically Deadpool without the...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreBest airsoft field/store around the area. I go specifically for airsoft so my review is based on that fact. Started coming here a few months ago and throughout that time it has improved significantly. The outdoor fields now have structures and have been cleaned out, and it's a lot better for cover and moving. The CQB field is good, and the owner is periodically making improvements to all 3 fields based on feedback. Most of the players seem to go for CQB but there's a decent ammount of players and they rotate between fields. The store selection is actually good and fairly priced, the owner has been stocking high quality guns and gear. I usually buy online but lately I've been purchasing locally because I can find most of what I need here. They now have rentals for airsoft so you can try it out before you decide to buy. Highly recommend this...
