
Update 08-05-2025 - A very busy day for Space Coast Honda Service Dept. I even had a wait to check my car in with my trusted service writer Andrew Gensler. I was approached three different times by other service department personnel asking if I had been helped. Andrew Gensler, my service writer, knows everything Honda. I thanked each one and said I would wait on Andrew to finish up with his customer inside. I did not have an appointment so my wait was a little longer than I expected but that was alright as Space Coast Honda has several clean and bright waiting areas inside where the big welcome was the nice cool air conditioning upon entering. Before I knew it, my car was ready and I was on my way to running several errands before heading home. Thank you, Andrew and all service department personnel for doing what you do best in the Space Coast Honda Service Department. Pleasant and courteous throughout all the while 'taking care of business'.
Update 06-19-2025 - Andrew Gensler continues to be the Space Coast Honda service writer of the year. Every Space Coast Honda employee that I had contact with on my recent service were very kind and accomodating. Pleasant is the word coming to mind even though the building is undergoing an update; there is construction everywhere out front. I waited on my car and it took no longer than the 2 hours quoted it would take and I was on my way home at 10am. Thank you Andrew Gensler for helping me care for my car when needed.
Update 09-29-2024 - Ditto on my review of my service tech Andy Gensler on Mar 09, 2024. Everyone that I meet in the Space Coast Honda service department are welcoming and 100% service minded people from check-in to impeccable service to check-out. I continue to take my car to Space Coast Honda service department with confidence. I purchased my Honda there in 2020 and they have serviced it ever since. Thank you Space Coast Honda sales and service!
Update 03-09-2024 Andy Gensler is my Service Writer/Tech at Space Coast Honda. He listens and makes sure that everything that I need looked at or cared for gets done. He treats my Honda as though it were his own. The service techs and department is where I take my Honda for all things Honda from purchase to services. I would not go anywhere else. Thank you Space Coast Honda.
Update 11.17.2022 My 5 star rating still stands strong for Space Coast Honda. I had another timely service done which included wheel rotation. So I added on a rebalance on all four wheels and an alignment as well. All work was promptly done and a tech brought my car out to me washed and ready to take on the FL roads (& road work) once again. Thank you Chris Hall, the office staff and parts department, and the techs that keep my car in tip-top shape. Thank you also to Andy Gensler the service writer who normally greats meet at the reception area. Andy was not there this day. That is how I met Chris Hall. Previous comment: I purchased my 2020 Honda Civic SI February 2020 from Space Coast Honda. The entire purchase procedures went along smoothly. I have been bringing my 2020 Civic to their service department ever since my first regular maintenance and oil change. They know my car and I wouldn't bring it anywhere else from my favorite service writer, Andy, to the mechanics. Pleasant waiting area too. From the beginning my car buying experience was great. I had a super nice and personable salesman who even compared and made references to his own family. I left the dealership feeling great about my new car until I found out months later that the whole time the salesman was being shady. Somehow I managed to sign multiple documents for a car and the loan never even got put in my name but instead, my co-signers name. As a young adult the car was supposed to help boost my credit, something I had discussed with the salesman, but he sneakily had zero regard for this. In addition, I bought an extended warranty with them and signed a document that showed everything it covered( I was told it was bumper to bumper) now Iāve asked for a copy several times and have only been told that they canāt give me that. Somehow every service I need done is not covered under this warranty. Any time a service is needed Iāve been accused of everything under the moon instead of them taking accountability. Everyone who answers the phone will cut you off and play an accusing game before you get anywhere and you just get thrown in circles. Not to mention Iāve taken my car in for service which they never completed and gave me my car back with hand marks over the entire body of my car. Iāve let all of this go without leaving a review which leads me to this current week where I was going through a carwash in a car thatās less than 2 years old and WATER STARTED POURING INTO MY CAR. luckily I had a towel to block as much water as I could from getting in to prevent any damage from being done. It appears that my window seals are falling off of a car less than 2 years old. I never had this problem with my last car that was over 10 years old. I called the dealership immediately only to be told to call back tomorrow that they wouldnāt do anything. All I wanted was an appointment to be scheduled to have this fixed but the lady who answered the phone refused. I called back the next day and was told I would have to talk to somebody specifically. I was transferred and sent to voicemail and never called back. I called back again 3x before reaching a completely different person who accused me of pulling on my window seals to close my door (my car is in immaculate condition and I have handles so this absolutely isnāt something I would do) after spending multiple days and fighting with nasty people I finally got an appointment made but I am still not being told whether it is covered or not. All of these people will put on a show, screw you over and play the victim game. So unless you like throwing away money and dealing with people who donāt care about you or your car once you leave the dealership DO NOT BUY FROM...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI regret having purchased my vehicle from Space Coast Honda. From sales to service I just get such a feeling of a lack of care and professionalism. When we purchased our 2022 Cr-V, we purchased several warranties and one was the Auto Butler service. The first time we brought it in we picked up our vehicle and it had some kind of spots on it. When asking the service rep we dealt about it, he begrudgingly went and got a rag and some cleaner and removed the spots then proceeded to inform us next time to bring the car in cleanā¦.Umm, ok? Our most recent trip was again for the auto butler service. It was done so fast, I almost question if it was even applied as every other trip they had the car most of the day and even have even failed to call us when it was ready ⦠anyway when we got home I noticed my front license plate and holder were completely bent on the driverās corner. So what kind of QA do they have? So no one walked around our vehicle to check it out? Believe me, you could not miss it. I did not take a photo, I should have. No one said anything to us nor did they attempt to correct it. I did this on my own and it is ok now.
A few days ago I received a call asking about the recent service and I told the woman who called what happened. She was surprised and asked why I didnāt take the car back in. I replied why would I waste my time going back and based on how they do business, they might deny it happened there. I even told her I personally walked around my vehicle to see if there were any bugs on the bumper, so I know it happened there. Like a hose got caught on it and bent it. She also asked if I had done a review and I told her no. She then proceeds to inform me if I give an unfavorable review, it will reflect on the service rep who assisted us. Well that was surprising. I told her I expect quality and professionalism and if I donāt get it, not t Expect a great review. I will not lie to save anyoneās job.
I am still in shock as to why people shouldnāt be held accountable, and to the point Iād be asked not to do a negative review. I was very put off by this request.
I will never purchase a car from this dealership again and I am tempted to trade it in anywhere but here to cut ties with this dealership. Itās painful knowing we have to deal with this bunch of unprofessional people for the warranties I purchased for their duration.
There are other things that I could say about this dealership but this review should give a pretty clear picture of how they treat their customers.
