Very rude owner- I guess her name is Kathy. The purpose of the store is to show off her hoard rather than to sell anyting- there is nothing new or lightly used in this store, it is all junk. Theres like 50 can openers for $5 each, 80 scissors for $5 each, a box of corks for $50, a tub of half broken cabinet handles for $5 each - piles and piles of junk that makes it hard to even navigate around the small paths/mazes of the store. Then there are like $500 mirrors and $1000+ furniture or a bottle of shells for $80 that have just sat there for eons. Plus most of the store items are not for sale. Anyting you touch, she will say that it is not for sale. I asked about cds and found stacks upon stacks upon stacks caked in dust. After spending 30 minutes going through all off them, I brought five cds to the desk to purchase and she said 2 of them were not for sale- she said they were not supposed to be there. She is also very mean to her staff/family. If you go there when she is not there, the relative/worker manning the place has to call her to see if the item is for sale and what the price is. The place is also a fire hazard- I do not know how she gets away with the state of her store- floor to ceiling of junk and the outside is littered with garbage. Like I said earlier, she just wants to show off her hoard of trash that she accumulates through estate sales and abondoned lockers. My mom really liked going there due to all the kitchen items, but when we went there last time the owner was just super rude and scared away several customers. Everything you touch is not for sale and everything that is for sale...
Read moreKept seeing items posted on FB for this place - address and opening times given. Went one day while in the area a little after their supposed opening time. They "got a late start" according to the woman who seemed to be in charge. Asked if we were looking for something specific, we said no that we wanted to browse. She then said maybe we wanted to go get a coffee or wait in our car as they would be a few minutes. We got in our car and watched for a few mins as her and a young guy proceeded to move a mountain of stuff blocking the front doors. Was gonna be a long few mins so we left. We tried again about 2 weeks later - again they were trying to get open as they were running late. Actually got to go in and the place is completely packed with stuff! Asked where to find rolling pins we had seen online. Was directed to one area and told there were more in another area but they had to move stuff to get that area open. Finally got over to other area and found cheaper rolling pins. Picked out 2 to purchase and when we tried to checkout she said that one pins should not have been in that cheaper area and i felt as if she was accusing us of moving it from the higher priced area to the lower priced area. We were going to just buy the one but she let us have both for $10. I will not return there because of that and because the prices are on the high side for having such an...
Read moreIt’s USED furniture, household items, decor and a bunch of dusty old overly priced items that cost more than they are worth. You can get cheaper items, more updated and better quality at Ross or T.J.Maxx. When I go to stores like that I’m looking for a deal not $15 for a basic frying pan or $10 for 1 glass bowl with a lid that’s grimy and old. I’ve tried to give this place a chance a few times but it’s toooo over priced and there’s always 1 or 2 employees that seem annoyed by anyone’s presence they walk around miserable and get annoyed when anyone is surprised by the prices there or just asks a basic question. SHOP AROUND I PROMISE YOU WILL FIND A BETTER DEAL SOMEWHERE ELSE. I dont write reviews I’m not a Karen by any means if anything I’m writing this because it is over priced and I don’t like how I’m treated or how I’ve seen other people treated there by the Karen’s...
