Cohasset Village Greenery — Local services in Cohasset

I would have loved to give this place a 5 star review. It had one of the largest selections of house plants at any nursery I had been to that weekend (out of 8!) and i pulled in when there was a huge 50-90% off sale! Woohoo! Score!

Now, to where it got weird. There were two women who helped me- one who had been there a while and let my daughter use the bathroom, VERY kind, and one who was being trained on a register. Cue the man. The, I assume owner, came over teaching a girl how to use the POS system. He made me feel the most unwelcome I had felt in a very long time. I noticed they have to manually discount each item, so I ask about the discount. The plants were clearly from last season... they were not worth full price. He immediately shot me down telling me I read the sign wrong and I was reading about a tent sale, but he would give it to me anyway. I was taken back and I think he could see it on my face. I expressed interest in my plant and asked a question and was rudely told i was wrong. The way he spoke to me and then followed me outside to check the signs made me feel very unwelcome. I hope the guy was just having a bad day, because that attitude is not going to keep you customers sir. Learn from who you hire. Be kind.

I phoned first, To confirmed they had the product IN STOCK, Pat confirmed and even gave me a price... upon arriving, was told to look around by a young gentleman, he then assisted us, we could not find it, Pat returned, pointed to a different location in the store and left, the young gentleman continued to assist us, we finally found the place it should have been but it was empty... the young gentleman employee was great, but Pat is the reason we will never go back there...but there is a nice place down by Columbia square in Weymouth I...

My wife and I loved shopping here for flowers. Unfortunately we will not be back because we now realize this place is extremely overpriced. We are new to gardening so we did not know pricing and what to expect. After shopping around to other garden centers we realized that this place was outrageously priced. We ended up paying $32 for a whole tray of impatiens. The majority of the garden centers sell them for $20 or less. We will definitely go elsewhere next year. So sad that a business has to inflate their...
