The older lady who helps you try on the suits and measures for alterations is incredibly rude. My almost two year old dropped some of his granola bar on the floor and as I was opening my mouth to tell him to pick it up she says to my child, husband and I to "pick that up please". Ok, I can get over that one. A little later we were waiting on alterations and to be checked out. The woman was handling other customers while I watched over my child as he ran around burning off energy. I made sure to keep him out of peoples way and put back anything he took out immediately. This employee loudly, from across the room, told me "ok don't let him run around anymore there are too many people in here". I loudly said back "no it's fine he's only two". I did end up taking my son outside so I didn't lose my temper with the woman and behave foolishly in front of him and my family, but I and everyone in our group noticed three customers holding bottles of beer in coolies step outside to smoke as we got in the car to leave. My two year old is a problem but the unlicensed alcohol consumption at your establishment is fine? No ma'am, you need to reevaluate some things. On another relevant note, my husband has been in three other weddings in the last year all of which rented tuxedos from the Mr. Shoppe. He has not been pleased with the fit of the suits even after alterations. He has noticed the quality of their work decreasing steadily over the last few years and it seems that everyone feels forced to give this establishment their business for lack of competition...

I only got the suit from here because I had to for a wedding.
It's been a while since I got a suit fit for me, but I could tell at the very beginning of the fitting the staff didn't know what they were measuring. (I was right.) The suit came in nowhere close to my size and was impossible to alter which led to getting another suit, which I told them to get a certain size waist and fit. Guess what they did....you guessed it, didn't listen! Fortunately after much battling, correct fit was found and we got the pieces together. On my fourth visit (and final visit) to here (it's not a short drive for me to get to this establishment) I come in only to find that they had given my suit to someone else that had picked up suits! Fortunately I found who had it, but the fact that the staff couldn't care less about the fact I paid for an expensive suit and didn't have it in my possession because of their wrongdoing! Fortunately I did end up with a suit that does work out of all of this.
I guess it is that tough to find good help these days. They don't really don't care how you look in a suit as long as you can shell the cash. Huge benefit of going to Barclay's in Piqua is they actually gives a darn about what they do.
Here is my experience If you want a really good suit, go to Barclays in Piqua. Don't waste your time, money, energy, and...
Read moreReally disappointed in how they treated my farther-in-law. He sent in his measurements (which he got from a professional business) to get a suit for a wedding and when he got the suit the pants were 4 pant sizes bigger then what he was supposed to get. When he called to get the error fixed they wouldn't fix it. After a bunch of arguing about them causing the issue they eventually agreed to mail him the correct sized pants. But he had to pay for all of the shipping costs even though it was the business fault for the error. (He lives in Pennsylvania) In the end he got the correct pants sized but had to pay for the shipping. And he has to drive an extra hour out of his way a day before the wedding to return the wrong sized pants. I would definitely be cautious purchasing suits from...
