First off, in buying my car in May, 2022, I will say the salespeople I dealt with at Don Noyes were very friendly. My problem is that I purchased the car sight unseen, and was going by the 13 photos posted by Noyes, as well as the salesperson assuring me the car was in “top condition”. The Carfax report on my car said minor damage reported, and the Noyes salesperson assured me that could be something as little as just touch-up from a shopping cart ding. Noyes paid two individuals to drive the car and a “chase car” 5 hours to my residence and did not charge me for that, which was generous of them. However, I knew when they showed up with the car, I wasn’t going to be happy with it. I should have forfeited the $1,000 deposit I had given them and told the two drivers to go back to Noyes with the car. Turns out not only was it a smoker’s car, and there were burns in the front seat and headliner, and the car smelled like an ashtray, but I found out about a week later the car was in a major accident! The driver’s side front and rear doors were repainted, (and badly, with the paint already peeling), the hood was repainted as well as the front bumper. The driver’s door didn’t even line up with the rear door anymore. That explains why Noyes had the car for 270 days without anyone buying it, despite the hot used car market. I was a fool to not consider what a red flag that was. I just sold the car last week because I just couldn’t keep a car that was in a major accident, and smelled so bad. I lost $4,500, including the $1,400 taxes and registration....

We were kept informed from the first contact of EVERYTHING they were working on behind the scenes and the estimated time of completion. EVERYONE from sales, to finance, to the owner himself showed prompt responsiveness in all communication. From the very start, I have had nothing but positive experiences from the day I stopped to look for a car. Don Noyes is the owner, he treats you like family. When he says he is going to do something, he surely does it. Great sales department personnel, they all help each other out.
I have had two outstanding experiences with the Service Department at this dealership (I only have 6400 miles). The service department is exceptional from the employees who work on my car, to the people on the service desk, to Pat the service manager. I am always treated with respect. Nothing but professional, kind and caring service for their customers. I’ve been driving for 50 years and have never had such great experiences!
Don and his employees helped me so much when I totaled my Toyota Highlander in February of 2024. I waited for a Traverse to come in but there were several delays from the manufacturer. I needed a car, even though Don lent one to me, so I went to see him. I left that day with my new Equinox.
