I go out of my way to support independently owned pharmacies. I've been using Coleman Family Pharmacy for a few years for compounded medication. I don't live in the area so I have to have it mailed to me. For the most part, the service was pretty good. Some delays that would result in having to ration medication, but I understand that there can be a backlog on compounding sometimes. Recently, there have been serious problems with shipping, not shipping until I called again, shipping to the wrong address, etc. I've had to go cold turkey off meds every month because of these issues. This week I had to drive five hours out of my way to pick up my controlled substance from my old address (when I placed the order, the woman on the phone read my correct address back to me, they've been using the new address for months, so there's no excuse). I am disabled and poor, this was a MAJOR hardship. And they're charging more than other compounding pharmacies. I think it's time for me to shop around. My body and my bank account can't...
