Don't buy from them, Their warranty is a scam. I purchased a brand new cylinder head from them in March of 2024 for a Cummins isx in a truck that I was doing an egine overhaul on. The customer had previously had a head gasket go out and instead of just doing the head gasket, he opted to have the entire engine overhauled with new pistons, sleeves, cylinder head, and both camshaft. He also asked if we could have the head fire ringed. I said, no problem, Highway and heavy parts offered the option for a fire ring head for a couple hundred dollars more. In July of 2024 the customer had contacted me about a liquid coming out of his exhaust when he would start the truck in the morning. The overhaul had only 7k miles on it due to the owner also being a farmer and having to plant crops in the spring so the truck sat for a couple months. We brought the truck into the shop and found that multiple injector cups were leaking. We removed the head and sent it in for warranty. I figured this would be a clean cut warranty, until I was contacted by Highway and Heavy parts and told that my warranty was denied. I called them back and asked what the problem was. They said that this failure occurs when trucks or deleted or tune. This truck is neither. So they said they would resubmit the claim. Waited a month and called them again to check on the warranty. They now tell me they are denying my warranty because the cylinder head was fire ringed and they assume when guys do that, that the truck has been turned up. I told them that their warranty doesn't state anything about no warranty due to having the head fire ringed. They pretty much told me "tuff shit" there is no warranty. By then, I was past the 30 day period to have the head sent back to me so I could send it to another shop to have it repaired. So they screwed me out of $4,500 for there head plus the $4500 that I had to spend for a new head from somewhere else. Truck now has 50,000 miles on it and no issue. Highway and Heavy parts sold me a junk head and they know but won't admit to it!

Reply: You are correct. I did not supply an ECM report. I am a small repair shop and trucking company with pre emissions trucks. I can not justify having the computer to get you this information. I would have to pay someone to come in and run a report for me, which I stated to the guy In your warranty department. He told me you have dealt with this issue before with fire ringed heads and there is no warranty. So why would I pay to have someone come over and run a report and cost me more even more money than I have already lost, when you won't cover it anyway? Nice job relying and making you guys look like the good guy in this situation! I will never buy another part or recommend anyone to Highway & Heavy...

I have been ordering parts from this company for years and this is the first bad experience and it’s not good at all I ordered an injector for my truck and call the next day to get tracking info to find out it was not ordered I told the sales person that I would keep the order only if I could receive it by Saturday and he agreed that I would have it by Saturday witch was the next day so Monday comes I still hadn’t received it so I called to cancel the order I asked do I need to instruct the carrier to return to sender and I was told no to except the package and we will send you a return label by email so Tuesday Morning I called to let them know I still have not received it they checked the tracking and said it was to be delivered that afternoon/evening and I did but only to return the unopened package to ups to be shipped back and I after a month past I received a partial refund so I called back to see where was the rest of my money and I was told that I was responsible for shipping and a restocking fee and I disagreed not if you couldn’t honor your original sale for a next day delivery witch I was paying for so at the end of the call they said I will receive a refund of the remainder and still have not received it called back I was told that I would see it the next day that was a week ago!!! Not an issue if it was negligent on my part...

DO NOT BUY TURBO'S FROM THIS COMPANY ITS CHEAP JUNK AND THEIR WARRANTY IS A SCAM! Turbo chargers they sell are complete junk. I orderdered one for 3406e and the housing clamps are made so thin that it popped and turbo started made loud noise. Called warranty they said it takes 3-5weeks. I said I need turbo now so they said " well you can buy another one.." So I bought second turbo while first being sent for warranty. Second turbo also makes very loud noise. And my mechanic said that housing clamp on second turbo is too thin cheap quality and not gonna last. So second new turbo also junk!!! My advice buy only oem , dont buy their aftermarket turbos junk. See attached pictures. UPDATE!!! I got response from their warranty team and they blame me that it was my fault. And they deny claim and refuse to give me refund! Joel called and he blamed that my mechanics overtighten clamp. I told him that the only way to tighten clamp is use wicegrips othetwise clamp pops! After their two junk turbos I bought oem cat turbo from peterbilt. And that oem turbo came with solid clamps. My mechanic installed with no complain. Also no noise or other problems with oem turbo!
