Proceed with great caution. We visited during their Memorial Day Sale and found a chair that I liked but it did not have black legs ( like I wanted) and the manager, Will, told me it was no problem and he would make it happen. We ordered 2 chairs and received them 6 weeks later. We did not notice that the chairs that we brought home, did not have black legs so we called the store to speak with the manager. He spoke with us and told us he would check into it and get back with us. My husband even went back into the store to speak with Will, and again he said he would check into the matter and get back with us. Needless to say, we never heard from him again. We called a minimum of 15 times and each time he was either with a customer or in The men’s room. We were always promised a call back by the receptionist, but never heard from him. Certainly, he was only out to get a sale, but knew nothing about customer service. After multiple attempts, we finally contacted the corporate office to right the wrong done. After speaking to Michelle, the Customer Service Manager, we were assured that Corporate would investigate the issue and get back to us. It was found that Will had never called the corporate center to inquire about the incorrect order. Within days, Michelle had resolved the issue. Judy, the salesperson was great! We ordered a lot of furniture. I received a text saying the furniture was ready for delivery and I could book the day. They only have Saturday's available. Because of my schedule, I had to wait an additional 3 weeks and scheduled delivery for 5/24. I did not receive it and called the store and spoke with Will, the manager, who was going to call me back in 10 min. He never did and when I called a few hours later, found out he'd left for the day and didn't pass along the information for anyone to follow up.
I went to the store the next day and spoke with Will who was insistent I was never scheduled for the 24th, despite the fact that I had an email from Lazy Boy stating my delivery was scheduled for the 24th. He told me there was nothing he could do and that I was scheduled for the 30th.
Our furniture finally arrived on the 30th and we love it! I recommend Lazy Boy as a product, just also recommend you stay clear of the store in College Station due to exceedingly poor customer service...
Read moreWe purchased a power recliner chair on 9-9-25 in order for me to prepare for shoulder surgery and sleep in it the first several weeks. Daniel the salesman was great, the chair was delivered on the scheduled time as expected.
HOWEVER, on 10-7-25 the chair broke. The screws pulled out of the rocking base. We called Daniel he said that he can only do something within three days. Next we called customer service which stated the chair will have to be picked up and taken to Houston for repair. The time frame is two to three weeks. They said a tech can come out and request parts but that is not the fastest route.
We thought purchasing a name brand product would not have issues and if we did the warranty and tech service...
