Collinsville Jaycee Sports Complex — Local services in Collinsville

First thing I noted when I arrived was that the handicapped space that was needed was occupied by a dirt pile. I then went to the bathroom and found blood on the floor (decided not to take a picture of that). The fields though are in good repair and are lined for games consistently. Beyond the fields though, they lack concessions or any other desirable amenities (e.g. playground, batting cages, pitching warmups). For a complex with this many fields, I would have...

Fields were decent shape . A lot of shade, perfect for those 80 degree baseball days. No lights in the outfield though. Centerfield was DARK, unsafe dark. Concession stand is very small and only 1 window, made the lines really long and very slow. Concession closed before our 745 game (started late) was even half over....

Nice fields and seating. Parking can be limited but not that bad...be patient.

Concession stand is very expensive and line is usually long. Pick something up at a nearby restaurant and save some $$s. Try Tienda El Maguey just down the street--hole in the wall with fantastic Mexican...
