Audubon Shopping Center — Local services in Colorado Springs

Good shopping center. DMV in there and 7-Eleven, Dollar Tree, a bar if you're parched 😉 I think it's a shoe repair store is next to the Dollar Store. There's a learn to drive course for those learning to drive directly across from the DMV. OR on the south end of the parking lot a place for experienced or ready to drive people needing to get your license once you passed the written/computer test at the DMV.. I used them ...So fast. Went to the DMV and took written/computer driving test and passed and then walked across the shopping center and you are able to use their car or yours and they execute the driving test. It was so simple. After that I walked back across the parking lot to the DMV. I was issued a Temporary paper drivers license and then they mailed my drivers license. I didn't catch I needed to renew my drivers license and had to start over like when I was 16 😅 This DMV doesn't do renewal tags or license plates. I use the Garden of the Gods DMV for that. There are several DMV's in the Springs 😃

I enjoy going there because they always have so many things to choose from. You can see things that you used to see in the old 5 and dime or Ben Franklin's. I know I am showing my age but when you can purchase the same product her for $2,.00 and then see the same product made by the same company at Walmart for $6,00 you ask why did I spend &6 when I could have paid $2. I always look at Audubon, when I need something first to see how much, then check it out on my phone and buy the one that saves me the most. The people are friendly. So the time in and out was amazing the security guard he told me that I could get what I needed done he was very helpful but when I finally got up to one of the women at her desk she didn't even look at me she was asking me very irrelevant questions and I know I've worked there before and she was just totally being a unprofessional woman I wish I would have remembered her name and I even tried to lighten the mood thing you guys busy today because they weren't and she just completely ignored me so if I do go there again which I probably will because of the fast service I will ask not to be helped by her I hope...
