I've been on the search to find a dog food that accommodates my dogs sensitive stomach, allergies that frequently lead to his ear infections. I've tried different brands of dog food, been to the vet multiple times for the ear infections and most recently to Hortons animal hospital, for other concerning health problems, such insane gas, that will make you run from the room and labored breathing. This trip yielded a substantial fee and pain medication for my dog. The experience left me frustrated on what to do. Ultimately, I believe his diet is the issue. I think it's the issue with most dogs that have allergies now days. Of course there are genetic, breed and environmental factors. I think dog food, much like human food has become a profitable business, that Ultimately causes disease and allergies because our and our pets bodies aren't ment to break down the chemicals, pesticides and other products in our foods. Okay..rant over. Back to Orschelns, the sales associate at Orscheln was AMAZING! She spent a great deal of time with me sharing her experiences with her pets and what has worked for her. She showed me what to look for in ingredients and which to try and steer clear of. Her time and conversation about what she has learned was most valuable and really gave me a sense of not being alone in this journey which feels so frustrating at times. Always good to look through the great selection of well of anything! Great tractor accessories, trailer tires and wheels, axles, chicken and fish at special times, heaters, fireplaces, horse and other farm animal medicine, dog supplies, and clothes. Staff is always great and very helpful in finding things. This visit I picked up some weed killer concentrate for our gravel driveway. In the past I have used roundup bit decided to try something different and cheaper, bought the gallon concentrate and 30 gallon sprayer for just slight more than round up cost. Get home set it up and mix per directions, in a quarter the amount of time I had sprayed our whole drive way and still had some left. Not knowing the power I decided to to save it for use the next weekend if needed. 2 days later the weeds are dead and have spray left. Cleaned a few crooked lines and a few other spaces. Great prices extremely friendly people always willing to help stop and talk to you. Willing to have a conversation with you about your dog what kind of dog or cat you may have just can't say enough good about the people that work here. I pick them over the competition simply because their prices are lower in dog food and cat food and toys for your animals treats everything. They have a larger supply of clothing. They are truly better and their staff is amazing the store is very clean and they have everything you could possibly need for farming clothing your animals hands down I don't know what more you could say I'm sure somebody's had a bad experience but you're going to have I guess a bad experience maybe on any given day wherever you go but I have never had a bad...
