(Long Post) I normally don’t do reviews but this was one was necessary. I’ve been to this bowling alley before several times and have experienced a good time. But this time was very different. My kids wanted to surprise me for my birthday and bring me here for some good family fun. It started off rocky when a customer came in after us and immediately cut in line but I digress. We still continue on and go to our lanes after we pay. Mind you it is a 9 of us altogether. So unfortunately only one lane was open at the time but no worries at all, we gladly took it. The waitress comes by and we place our order for food. Halfway through our game, we noticed that the lane beside us was now open so my wife goes to the counter and asks about the lane. The young lady at the register (she has burgundy shorts locs) answered with a curt attitude “As soon as the customer gets the refund.” And rolls her eyes. So my wife comes back to our lane confused and perturbed at the terrible customer experience already. So we continue to play and try to have a good time. Twenty minutes goes by and my wife decided to go back and ask about the open lane since it’s been some time now. She goes back to the same young lady and says “Excuse me, I’m just checking to see if we can now get that lane.” She says “It was open 20 minutes ago.” My wife asks, “Why the attitude?! I’m asking so I can spend my money here. It’s no need for all of that.” She walks off and back to our area after purchasing the lane. My son tries to bowl but noticed the lanes became dark so I decided to walk up to the counter once more and hopefully be the voice of reason. I talk to an employee named James, wears glasses who said was a manager, and I tell him “We are unable to play anymore. My wife came up here and she spoke to this young lady about getting a lane” and then I looked at the young lady with the locs and said “But what’s the problem? It seems there was an issue.” The young lady looks past me and ignores me. James, the so called manager, advises me to stop talking to her and threatens to call Security. I asked him, “Mr James I’d like if we can please step to the side away from customers so we can talk.” He continued to say “Nope, please leave.” Another employee began cursing at us and threatening to call Security and I became angry at this point because I am floored at the level of service we are receiving. Another employee came outside with us, cursing at us. Needless to say, security came and we will be calling Corporate and the Better Business Bureau. This business needs new employees. I will NOT be giving my business to this...
Read moredba Quakers...As a business owner of 4 I was very disappointed with the lack of customer service was given. We needed 2 additional chairs to be added to the end of our table and was told by the (Service manager Lauren) it wasn't possible. Instead of her suggesting we move to the table off to the right that wasn't taken. She gave us the option to wait on a guy who was eating his food and she would add his table with ours leaving our two guess to stand until he finished. 2nd issue; my aunt order 2 $17 pitcher of alcohol drinks and it spilled over their counter. Unsure if it was my aunt or the bartender fault. They made her think it was ok and they will replace it after she paid. When she got back from delivering the first pitcher to our guess; that same service manager told my aunt she would have to pay for another and they won't replace it bc it was $20. Yes my aunt was livid because we all know mistakes can be written off and it could have been replace to satisfy a customer with a group of 12. They actually made us leave after spending hundreds of dollars, food wasn't finish, our pitchers of drinks wasn't drunk and our bowling game wasn't complete. They refund the pitchers bc we couldn't drink it, but that only told us they could have written off the spilled pitcher In the first place because you're about to pour this one down the drain and refund. This was a family gathering and we will never be back. Will contact the general manager Monday and will write another review with...
Read moreI called ahead of time to secure two lanes for a surprise birthday party for my 16 year old and was told I could not secure lanes unless I had at least 10 children. There were 9 children and 5 adults. Because of that I arrived on the day of the party at 545pm. Hoping to secure the lanes for a 6pm start time. The manager was not willing to accommodate the 15 minute window as we waited on the remainder of the guest. I was told that they cannot provide lanes to customers that are not "Ready to bowl". I was able to secure one lane when the manager walked away and even after that the staff continued to come to our lane asking when we would start bowling. They did not do this to an other patrons that were simply sitting at their lanes not actively bowling. I was willing to pay for any additional fees and the staff could care less about being even just a little accommodating. We did up securing another lane and I did bring them a good amount of business that evening but never again will they get another cent...
