Fantastic place for the family! Growing up in Columbus, I, of course was familiar with Anthony Thomas, but never went to the factory until now, many, many years later.

Went with my family over winter vacation. Took a guided tour which was very inexpensive and very informative. Plus, if you buy something in the gift shop on the way out, you essentially make the price of the tour back, which was $1 for kids and $2 for adults, since they give you a coupon for that on your way out.

We got information about the history of not only the company, but of chocolate making, as well. Plus we got to see how Anthony Thomas chocolates are made, as well as contracted chocolates they do for Big Brand chocolate companies, as well. And at the end, a sweet treat for everyone!

Definitely worth a visit! They offer tours every hour, that last about 30 minutes. Our tour guide was very informative and we really enjoyed seeing the processes. They were making & packing Snickers Christmas trees when we toured. I never gave thought to how those were made, but now I have a full understanding. You can’t take pictures on the manufacturing floor for obvious reasons, but that was ok. Pricing is $4/adult & $2/kids, which is very reasonable. Not good. Their customer service leaves a lot to be desired. I called and was told I could use a gift card to order online. I tried and there was no place to enter the information. I called back and was disconnected after being told I needed to talk to the person I had just talked to. I called again and was told I could not use the gift card. As for the chocolate, it's flavorless. The buckeyes look like plastic and the peanut butter has zero taste. I also tried a peanut butter egg and again, no flavor. I spent close to $80 on this stuff and could have gotten better flavor from a Hershey bar at the local gas station. I do not...
