My boyfriend and I have been wanting to go to this haunted house from the time that we figured out it existed (a few years). We were on our way home from A true American haunt in Lancaster (it is hands down the best haunted house in central oh) and figured since it was on our way home we would finally stop in! The two ladies at the ticket stand were barely friendly. The line was nonexistent and there were approx. 6 people in line in front of us so we were super excited to get right in! They sent us in with the group of 6 even though at the time there was no one behind us and it was only 930.. So we get into the first room where you are required to sit even though there was no room left on the benches????? We then shuffled through and not a single actor payed attention to us and 2 of them walked right past like we weren't even apart of the group? So we didn't get a single jump scare or any of the theatrics. THEN halfway through a group of 5 ran up on us and were basically pushing us into the 6 people in front of us. At the end the people who were asking about the favorite rooms showed no interest to actually engage and ask how the haunted house was.
If the line was semi busy i can understand sending large groups. Isn‘t the goal to scare every guest though? If anything it would make more sense to break large groups up that way everyone’s experiencing the same thing. I had so much fun at ’A true American haunt’ and I feel like I should’ve never tried to follow it up only to be so disappointed. I hope that someone will read this and be able to take the constructive criticism for what it is. everyone loves a good haunted house no one loves spending $40 to get shuffled through warehouse and not get...
Read moreStop what you’re doing, definitely stop searching. Carnage is the ONLY Haunted house you should consider in the Columbus area! Scratch that… The entire state of Ohio! There’s a different vibe with carnage as the creators have put ENORMOUS attention to detail. The Visuals, Lighting, Audio, atmospheric conditions, handmade items, and the actors; truly brought me down to the bayou and had me questioning my own reality. Amazing storyline to accompany the haunt as well. I feel like all other haunted houses can be summarized as people jumping out with chainsaws and screaming at you. Here at Carnage, it’s an immersive experience that will consume your brain and ALL SIX senses from start to finish!!
Other perks that I enjoyed; -Simple parking on site 100% indoors, weather doesn’t play a factor Very reasonably priced for The amount of time it takes to go through it. Yes there was a line Due to its popularity, but the associates working there are very professional, very friendly, and they know how to keep things moving, and how to entertain you once you get in! Even the line was a fun...
Read moreAfter experiencing a bad time at another haunted attraction place I won't say...carnage really turned things around for my group and I. I've never heard of the place before so it was my first time there and wow, just wow! I am a fellow haunt actor here and I love getting out and seeing new haunts. I look for specific things and one of those are conversation with the actor and myself or how well they put on a show. All the actors but 3 talked. Some had story's to tell and some gave us a show! They were all so empowering!! Your guys makeup, some where better than others but they were all still really good! I thought there was a decent amount of actors but of course never hurts to have more! Ik it's a struggle to get the real weirdos to work at a haunt lol. But I honestly can say that was the best haunt I've ever gone to! Shout out to the lady with the guy who had the baby, reminded me of last year when me and my bestfriend did a scene kinda like that just a bit more hillbilly and also to the guy in the middle section/ending, but I hope yall have great rest of your season and I'll...
