āļøāļøāļøāļøāļø El Tacoriendo – Columbus, OH Tacoriendo Ever have a dinner plan fall through, only to find something even better by accident? That’s exactly how I ended up here. My go-to Thai place was closed (my heart was set on pork belly fried rice), so I pivoted—and honestly, I’m glad I did. This was only my second time at El Tacoriendo, and it was a 4/4 taco win. I tried: 🌮 Asada – tender and smoky, almost buttery in a warm corn tortilla 🌮 Suadero – juicy and rich without being greasy 🌮 Cecina – salty-savory in the best way 🌮 Barbacoa – soft, shredded, and perfect with a squeeze of lime Everything came loaded with fresh cilantro, onion, grilled onions, and crisp cucumber slices on the side. The green salsa was mellow, the red had a little kick, but honestly, the meat didn’t need any help. Even after not eating all day, two tacos filled me up—these portions are no joke. The menu has so many proteins you don’t see everywhere: beef tongue, tripe, buche, chorizo. After today, I’m open to trying all the unique ones next time. If you’re the adventurous type, this is your playground. 🚨 Outside the building looks like the kind of spot you'd second-guess after dark--like pulling up to a Linden carryout when the streetlights flicker--but trust me, If you judge a taco by the tortilla (and honestly, you should), this place is worth checking out. Inside feels relaxed and colorful—painted chairs, bright walls, and no pressure. You’re just here to eat good food. I’d bring y’all with me if I could—because this is the kind of spot that’s easy to love. šŸ’¬ What’s the most unique taco filling you’ve tried? Or which one would you pick first? Drop your favorites below! 🌮 5/5 – Come hungry, leave happy, and maybe a little curious about what you’ll order next.

We ordered the chilaquiles with chicken the chilaquiles sauce was super salty. The French fries were salty, where you can see the amount of salt they added on. Also, the service was not great. We got there and didn't feel welcomed no hello or guidance on where to sit, they basically said sit anywhere, which is okay. But took a while to give us service. When I asked the waitress about the menu items she was very unsure of what the menu items had. The steak tacos were okay, however there were several peices of fat instead of actual steak. The biggest let down and disappointment was the chips and salsa, the salsa was straight up Herdez canned salsa all they did was add cilantro and onions- this is supposed to be mexican food what is this. Lol. I couldn't believe it. The margarita was premixed, like the one you find at the store, all they did was pour it over ice. I do not recommend this place, food was below average, salsa was store brought, service was lack luster they're not even trying. We ended up spending about $68 on the food, which was a huge disappointment.

The few places that serves Chorizo the right way! We must learn to embrace I appreciate different cultures. My favorite. Real authentic Mexican must order in Spanish. If you want real authentic in any cuisine. Learn the language and the culture with the internet these days there's no excuse. You got to learn to appreciate what you are eating. If not better take your butt back to Taco Bell in order in hillbilly English Spanglish. If Donald Trump had his way there would be no more authentic food and America would just be stale and bland. Its off topic but its relevant. we don't need to make "America great again" America is already great with all the different cultures shame on anybody tries to change this. We were built on immigration. Take the good the bad and see each other as humans embrace all different cultures. It's such a beautiful thing let's not make it ugly.

Ever have a dinner plan fall through, only to find something even better by accident?

That’s exactly how I ended up here. My go-to Thai place was closed (my heart was set on pork belly fried rice), so I pivoted—and honestly, I’m glad I did.

This was only my second time at El Tacoriendo, and it was a 4/4 taco win.

I tried: 🌮 Asada – tender and smoky, almost buttery in a warm corn tortilla 🌮 Suadero – juicy and rich without being greasy 🌮 Cecina – salty-savory in the best way 🌮 Barbacoa – soft, shredded, and perfect with a squeeze of lime

Everything came loaded with fresh cilantro, onion, grilled onions, and crisp cucumber slices on the side. The green salsa was mellow, the red had a little kick, but honestly, the meat didn’t need any help.

Even after not eating all day, two tacos filled me up—these portions are no joke.

I’d bring y’all with me if I could—because this is the kind of spot that’s easy to love.

I came here because of the reviews I had seen and I heard from a friend that this place was good. So I bought their groupon deal and, Well I'm sorry I even did that, the service was horrible, no smiling faces on the staff, no greeting at all, when we asked for a booth the waitress acted aggravated, we ordered, and after 15 to 20 minutes of just sitting being side eyed by the girl sweeping the floors, was served our food by a different lady and still hadn't even gotten any drinks, and I ORDERED WATER! So finally the food arrvies and its dry, flavorless, and just not at all what people built it up to be! Very disappointed and will never waste my time or money here again. And they have the nerve to note on the groupon deal about proper tipping on the full amount off the order and not the discounted amount!! Wow i wouldn't tip a penny for this crappy service and lack luster food and i wouldn't expect anyone else to either! Just...
