Other than tight parking spots and iffy location, this place is no different than any other grocery dc. Same rude guards, same expensive lumpers, and, the most important thing, yes, they are SLOW. In this case lumpers were somewhat quick to unload my trailer (I only had 4 pallets), but the receiver took almost 4 hours to accept product.
Do not come here early, 1 hour before your appointment time is the earliest they will let you in. But even then, it totally depends on parking availability at the staging area. If its full, they can still kick you out and tell you to come back at your appointment time. I saw some trucks parked on Wilmington right in front of the entrance. Well, you can try to park there, but chances are you will get a ticket. Its a no parking zone. There is some temporary parking on University Dr and also on Carson Street. Carson St is limited to 1 hour. I parked on Carson for about 4 hours and was lucky to not to get a ticket.
Now backing your trailer into a dock is another story. If you have anything bigger than daycab + 48' trailer, you are out of luck. I saw daycab with 53' taking off the mirror off the truck next to him. So, be prepared to practice your driving skills when...

Open doors backed up figured a warehouse person prob come out disconnect the red air line to the trailer lock it out grab my ppr wk like sum places do. 1 crucial error on ur directions . Before u go right at the stop sign walk over to door 425 or whatever door number that was. & give receiving ur pprwk then go back up to the door. It made the whole process difficult because of that one mistake. Ill know next time . So.... i can look like a dum dum all by myself. Lol. I dont need any help. It was an honest mistake so i dont hold...
Read moreThis place is foolish. Tight parking. So tight that if another driver is parked beside you that you can't get in or out safely without them detaching from their trailers. Not everyone is going to wake up every time just to move for a place that takes hours to get you processed. I'll sue Ralph's and not the driver if my truck is hit due to their safety negligence. They need to implement the same safety procedures as Walmart and Amazon who don't have you attached to the trailer. Walmart doesn't even let you put the trailer in the door at most of their DC's. Ralph's need to do the same and have bobtail parking where they have their day cabs sitting. That will alleviate any accidents since security says you can't park in empty spots up front. But that would take a somewhat of a bright person to come up with that which their administration lacks. Until then I'll wait till someone hits me and I can sue them. Oww, my...
