Gil's Market — Local services in Comstock Charter Township

Been going there for several years, always friendly,, got greeted with my name, I would come in and say Hi Paul (the owner), he would reply Hello Daniel. Till yesterday when "Mike" (his co-owner) was having a bad day and thought he could let it out on me....no sorry my friends ...I spend ruffly $100 there every 2 weeks sometimes more when they still had food....but sorry going to do my shopping somewhere else...and I will tell my friends and family to do so as well....people please go to the DG a block away. Paul was great....just his grumpy little Minion "Mike" is...

Its a good corner store to do light shopping at. If you are looking to do heavy shopping you are better off going to Meijer or Walmart. To the reviewer who commented about being charged $2 for debit, of course. If you purchase under $5 on a debit there is a $2 charge for it. There is even a sign at the counter that tells you that and explains the reason for that. And being followed around? Well the way I see it with that is, the only reason you would be bothered by that is if you were doing something wrong. Maybe try not to steal...

Thiefs... Charging 2.00 + for using a debit card.. 5.00+ over advertising price for a pizza.. Most of the products they sell are outdated and just bad in general. They have a habit of rubbing off the expire date... Someone should turn them in. THEY SHOULD NOT BE ALLOWED TO BE OPEN..the staff is ridiculous following you around the store like your going to steal.. They all charge different prices.. And one of them cant seem to stop snorting coke in between...
