Food Lion — Local services in Conewago Township

Food Lion Rocks!!! The staff at the Deli are Wonderful 👍. Robin (my neighbor) works there. She is so Friendly and always asks if I found everything OK. She is my neighbor, but we never see each other at home. I only see her at Food Lion. She is Wonderful 👍. And last, Zachary (MGR), is Outstanding. He has been there for years. Every time I see him he so Friendly and Greets everyone with a Smile 😊. I have been going to Food Lion for 13 years now. I believe Zachary (Zach), has been there as long. Ya know, people always criticize this place, but the deals are great, the staff are always friendly and personable. Definetly the best grocery store to stretch a dollar. After you shop there awhile, you learn what store brand products to buy and which ones to stay away from. Their card savings are the best I've found. My only beef is no fresh seafood, but I've worked around that. I buy the common fish from there, (tilapia, cedar plank salmon, flounder, etc... and any specialty items....ie shellfish, fresh cuts of seafood, I'll just buy from a specialty store. I dropped 150 bucks there tonight, and I'm stocked for 2+ weeks. Granted I'm single...

After shopping the "other" larger chain stores for many years, we've recently been frequenting our local Food Lion store and found it to be very clean, well stocked and VERY comfortable and user friendly to shop at. Never overly crowded and ,without comparing item for item prices, see very little overall higher prices. To be honest, even if the prices are slightly higher, it's a perfect trade off to dealing with a crowded store and long checkout lines. In conclusion, if you like to shop for groceries in a relaxed atmosphere and not feel rushed, this is the place for you. Thank you Food Lion and keep up...
