I always came to Conneaut just about every weekend my whole life and last weekend I brought my dog to swim at the sandbar ... I was told they no longer allow dogs on the sandbar. After driving an hour and a half, it was very disappointing to see. This was the best place to be. My entire family of 3 generations has loved it here but the last 6 plus yrs, it's been worse. It is all about the boats anymore and they can care less about the people who try to shore fish. Don't get me wrong, I love boats, but I can't even take my dad fishing because of all the rocks that were dumped by the docks. Totally ruined my favorite place to be. Last of all the...
