Castaways Pizza & Grill — Restaurant in Conneaut

This is the third time we have been there and each time we had poor service. First time we dined in and there was 2 other couples there. We placed our order and had to wait over a hour! I could understand if it was packed but it wasn't. The cook was too busy talking. The second time we called in for delivery. We placed an order for 6 adults and was told 45 minutes. It took almost 2 hours! We called and was told the order had got misplaced, next the driver couldn't find us (we live 6 miles from there) and once the driver got better direction he showed up with 6 cold dinner plates! So, today we decided to try calling in and going to pick it up. We ordered a 12 inch pepperoni and they said 30 minutes and we said we would be there in 45 minutes. The girl repeated the order back to us. My spouse goes in to pick up the pizza and came out disgusted. The girl at the counter said she didn't have a order for us. Then she found the order at the cooks station and the pizza was not cooked. So we wait another 20 minutes. I just don't understand how out of 3 separate visits each one was a disaster. I think the management needs to give a class on customer service. This is...

It is a cute very small place. I Think there's four outdoor tables on their patio that were filled. I think they're also 8 tables inside of various sizes! Not a lot of parking! We had to drive around a couple times to find a place to park & walk. They have a little bit of everything on the menu from pizza & subs to salads, sandwiches, burgers, spaghetti &meatballs chicken parm. They don't have a full bar but they do have beer and wine license. I got the godfather sub, my brother's each got a burger. One got the castaway Burger and my other one got the wimpy Burger which is far from wimpy I think it's like 2 1/2 pd burgers stacked. We all enjoyed our food everything was good! Seemed there was only one server having to handle the inside and outside & busing the tables, kind of felt bad for her! Since everybody enjoyed their food and there were no complaints we will definitely be heading back to check out other things...

Oh my goodness. I love this place. Husband and I stopped by while in town, argued about what to get, and LOVED everything. They have a great beer list to include local beers wine and Coke. You can tell that they make their appetizers in house and we very much loved our jalapeno cheese bites! For food I got a make your own Stromboli with garlic, jalapeno, and pineapple. The crust was delicious, cheese was epic, and flavor delicious! The husband got the eggplant parm platter which comes with a side, breadsticks and spaghetti. To be fair the spaghetti was nothing to write home about but the sauce and the eggplant made it absolutely amazing. I'd drink the sauce. The eggplant was very thick and usually I don't like it thinner. But. They know how to make eggplant. It was delicious! Would go back and get the same...
