El Camp Lanes — Local services in Conneaut

Haven't been there with the kids for a while. Probably a year or so. First and last time bringing them there the old man behind the drink area was EXTREMELY rude. He made us feel unwelcome as soon as we entered the building and told us to leave because there were no lanes open. When we said we were perfectly fine with waiting then he proceeded to raise his voice at us and said I SAID THERE ARE NO LANES OPEN JUST LEAVE! I will NEVER bring my family there again. I'd much rather bring them bowling somewhere out of town with friendly vibes and respectful staff. If there were a zero star rating option I'd choose that instead of one. I'm not sure if the man is the owner and feels entitled to treat people that way or he's staff...either way I'm sure it's lost the establishment quite a bit of money behaving like that. There's a few more people I have talked to in Conneaut about it and they've had something similar to say. So anyways here we are heading to Girard bowling because even though it may be a bit less updated the staff is welcoming and friendly and that is what matters most to me. Very nice updated. Very helpful men at the shoe counter. Didn't like the balls under tables. Not polite to interfer with families bowling or sitting at the tables. Should have easier accessibility of the balls. Hard to grab and test if correct weight. Have no set hours. Should have a designated time from open to close. Not by patrons not there. Need to get Pepsi don't like coke. Have $1 pop machine. Might want to make a designated day for a "special" . to get new patrons. Example is a slow day $1.50 a game with free shoe rental. Now hear me out, the drinks were good but customer service…. Is not it first of all we sat at the bar for 30 minutes while the bar tender was just talking to customers. THAN FINALLY WE GOT THE BARTENDER TO COME TO US but wait another 30 minutes for our DRINKS🤦🏼. And the owner was very rude to us and the cake for the kids birthday party was MELTED.
